I totally agree, ex. "Cleo is certainly not a stranger to the music industry having already worked with some of the best and well loved house hold names in the world she is back to put her own stamp on the world with the release of her debut album (TBC)" is hardly neutral or unbiased. Surname

Re: "Cleo, As known by most (born Cleopatra Madonna Higgins)" I don't believe that "Higgins" is her real surname, it's a stage name, I believe "Lynvest" is her real surname See web page: http://www.encoremusic.com/piano/composer_sep_Cleopatra+Lynvest.html . Only Zainam's surname is really Higgins.

Please leave the Cleo Higgins page alone

There is nothing wrong with a part of her Cleopatra bio being included on her page. Its apart of her history and is helpful to the people who do not wish to go to the Cleopatra page. This isn't an issue on the Beyonce Knowles page with her Destony's Child bio. I've been working on this page since it was created and i'd appreciate if you didn't remove things.

Who are you more like! I've been helping to update the Cleo page for a long time and i don't understand why you have come along and started to remove info. Its part of her history and i will remain to keep putting it back. By "Who are you?", I meant that you are not signing your messages. Also, since you do not have an account, it's not easy communicating with you. Despite previous requests, you are STILL removing trivia tags and citation request tags. Stop doing that - it's vandalism.

Duplicating information across two different pages is a bad thing - if someone edits one of the pages, the change won't be reflected on the other page. You're trying to compare this to the Beyonce Knowles article, but that's a long an indepth article and the Destiny's Child info there is in proportion with the rest of the article. This is a much shorter article, and padding it out with details of Cleopatra is pointless. Pince Nez (talk) 14:20, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

I've removed all the duplicate Cleopatra information once again. Please do not duplicate information across two pages - creating internal forks and mirrors within Wikipedia causes problems when the information gets edited and updated on one page but not the other. Again, please read WP:OWN -"I've been working on this page since it was created and i'd appreciate if you didn't remove things" is not a good argument, and asking me to "Please leave the Cleo Higgins page alone" suggests that you seem to think you have some kind of ownership over this page. I do not think i have ownership over it at all. I will put back the information as i don't see why it should be a problem for you. Also some of the your cn's because its fact! She was the lead singer of Cleopatra! She has two children. If your want it tagged go and search google.. Its all there. It's not a problem for me, it's a problem full stop. Perhaps you haven't read the above. If so, please read the following very carefully:

You say that you don't see why this should be a problem - do you understand now?

I'll also explain about the citation requests. The article says that she was the creative force behind Cleopatra - that seems a bit like a subjective opinion, so if that's going to stay in the article, it needs backing up with a citation as per WP:CITE. Take the time to read this page, which includes all the links you need in order to find out how to cite your references properly. Also, this is an article about a living person - please read WP:BIO and WP:BLP - when it comes to aspects of her personal life, saying "it's a fact - go and search Google" doesn't cut it. Citations need to be provided (you should also read WP:VERIFY) so that other editors can verify the information contained in the article.

Third opinion

This page was listed at WP:Third opinion for a review by an outside editor.

I have reviewed the debate and the content in question and I beleieve that the content from the Cleopatra article overwhelms the content in this article. We should build the web and encourage people to use the unique tools that wikilinks provide instead of duplicating information across multiple pages. The Cleopatra section was longer than the rest of the article, and is readily available and easier to maintain in its own article.

Controversial facts require reliable sources and should be tagged as such. The placement in this article is appropriate. One exception I would recommend is the Personal life section. Rather than tagging, this should be removed according to WP:BLP for privacy reasons unless a source is found and cited. On a matter of personal preference, I would rather to see {{fact}} tags with dates used than the {{cn}} tag. Even undated {{fact}} tags will be completed by a bot, and categorized accordingly. My error, I never used the alternate tag and didn't realize it did the same thing. Jim Miller (talk) 18:58, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Re-write

I will rewrite the Cleopatra Bio for Cleo's page. I think her Cleopatra Bio is very important to her page as its where she's had the most success! Untill i have done this i request you leave the old bio in place for the time being as it isn't providing incorrect information about her past. While I realize that I have only provided a non-binding opinion on this debate, I don't know if you fully underatood what I was trying to say. If the Cleopatra (band) portion of the article is longer than the Solo portion of the article, it is innappropriate to inlcude here. I believe that this is a worthy article for inlcusion, but the difference in weight will probably result in another editor merging the entire article back to Cleopatra (band). A brief summary is appropriate for inclusion, but you are adding too much detail for an article about an individual. This article should demonstrate Cleo's independant notability. There's absolutely no reason for a discography in this article. Most of the entries in the discography weren't Cleo Higgins releases, they were Cleopatra releases. There was a listing for "Album (TBC)", which obviously doesn't belong in a discography at the very least until it's confirmed and, I would suggest, perhaps not until released. That leaves one single entry, which is already detailed in the section entitled "Solo", so there's no reason at all to create another new section to list this release on its own.
