Proper credit
editIt would be appreciated if proper credit would be given to the "Policy trailer #1" video which was taken from our FT Depot channel on YouTube. ALL of the videos on our FT Depot YouTube channel are the work of OUR transfer and restoration work. It is disappointing that the prestigious Wikipedia site is not giving proper credit back to the source from which someone lifted the video file from. We have posted over 400 videos of 35mm restorations to the FT Depot channel in the last 14 months without visible watermarks, preserving history that is quickly becoming lost.
Newsflash: yes it really DOES cost us actual money to provide these restoration transfers, and although we do not seek financial compensation here nor in monetizing the YouTube channel, we DO expect to be given proper credit for our efforts. Such a simple and respectable thing is not too much to ask. Thank you. FT Depot (talk) 23:21, 13 June 2021 (UTC)FT Depot

Acquired by CineMark
editOn CineMark logo, it says it has had control of 4 cine companies (Century Theatres, CineArtś, Raven Theatres and Tinseltown (tinseltown being spelt in cursive)) I don't know if I should edit the acquisitions section because I might get a warning on my page. Thank you. DeutschlandHelfer (talk) 21:09, 29 June 2022 (UTC)
Article's name
editI feel like the article should be simply called "Cinemark" rather than "Cinemark Theatres". "Theaters" isn't in the company's name, and people ofter refer to it as simply "Cinemark". There is no other company called Cinemark, so it wouldn't create confusion to remove the "Theaters". User:Quehipchip (talk) 20:30, 9 November 2023 (UTC)
