A fact from Chuck Deardorf appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 1 November 2022 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that Chuck Deardorf joked that he "played both kinds of music: country and western"?

ALT1: ... that Chuck Deardorf released his first album as co-bandleader with Dave Peterson in 2004, even though the two had been playing together since the late 1970s? Source: AllMusic
Overall: @Bloom6132: Good article! Personally I find hook 0 to be boring but alt1 seems interesting to me. Approving. Onegreatjoke (talk) 01:12, 18 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Deardorf's joke about playing "both kinds of music: country and western" is 'borrowing' from The Blues Brothers (1980);
“What kind of music do you usually have here?” asks Elwood. “Oh, we got both kinds,” answers the bartender. “We got Country and Western!”.
This should be noted (unless his use predates the film). Nedrutland (talk) 08:04, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
