Too many images

I feel like there's an excessive amount of images for this article. I counted 19 of them. I think it's good that people want to share their images, but there's simply too many and it becomes distracting. I think most of the smaller images at the very end can be removed, the excess ones from his heel run, one of the extras of him during his entrance and the Lucky Charms shirt one in my opinion just looks a bit off. ☆ Antoshi ☆ T | C 13:43, 30 December 2010 (UTC)

Agreed. I removed one of the pictures of him performing a move since there are like 8 images in a row and it's screwing up the formatting of the page. TheGary (talk) 01:18, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Ralphus

Why is there no mention at all of the page of Ralphus? TheGary (talk) 07:18, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

Many little Issues

First and foremost, Chris Jericho has NEVER stated he would return at or by Wrestlemania as a face. This is very inaccurate.

Second, there is no mention of Jericho's WWE entrance music "Break the Walls Down"

Third, under Nicknames, it does not mention his self proclaimed "Best in the World at What "he" Does"

Little things...but details that should be included, none-the-less. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.255.133.253 (talk) 01:31, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

Possible Retirement?

Is this conjecture? If I may I'd like to direct everyone to Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not. It clearly states wikipedia is not a Crystal Ball. Being as such I move for any references of possible retirement. I'm sure everyone is aware that Mr Jericho will retire someday. Speculation and anything that is not verifiable fact has no place on Wikipedia. If you feel you need an outlet for such conjecture consider starting a blog.Serialjoepsycho (talk) 17:18, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

That probably snuck in when one of the rumormongers tried to insist he was coming back for Wrestlemania or something similarly inane. Tony Fox (arf!) 22:06, 11 March 2011 (UTC)

JeriThor

I made a note of this and separated his TV appearances as they were too numerous and distinct from his novels, movies and plays. DB (talk) 03:08, 7 May 2011 (UTC)

Undisputed and Unified?

"He is also the first man to have held an Undisputed World Championship and a Unified Tag Team Championship"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Triple H has also been the Undisputed Champion and Unified Tag Team Champion. In fact, he won both of those titles from Jericho. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.108.247.135 (talk) 04:10, 21 May 2011 (UTC)

Jericho is the only one to have held two world titles at the same time and two tag titles at the same time no one else hase done that as far as i know there have been many unified tag champs in the wwe but the only other person to hold a unified world title was rvd who held the ecw and wwe title--Black Dragon 01:35, 25 May 2011 (UTC)BlackDragon and also hhh held the wwe title when it was called that but he never held two world titles as jericho did. jericho held the wcw and wwf titles at the same time then held the unified tag titles with edge/big show--Black Dragon 01:45, 25 May 2011 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Black60dragon (talkcontribs)

Triple H won the Undisputed Championship from Jericho at Wrestlemania X8, and won the Unified Tag Team Championship from Jeri-Show at TLC 2009. So Jericho may be the first man to accomplish such a feat of being an Undisputed World Champion and Unified Tag Team Champion but he isn't the ONLY man.

Well he is the only man to have held TWO world titles at the same time and TWO tag titles at the same time triple h held the wwe undisputed title which is ONE world title not two like jericho he held the two tag titles but not TWO world titles so leave it as it is — Preceding unsigned comment added by Black60dragon (talkcontribs) 19:12, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

First and foremost, you need to learn to articulate your thoughts into words. Not to be the grammar police, but its incredibly difficult to understand you. Now on to business, Wikipedia is not a place for indiscriminate trivia. The mention of Jericho's Unified Tag Team Championship and the WWF Undisputed Championship reigns as a strictly relative note, as it was written in the article lead before I removed it, is completely trivial. --UnquestionableTruth-- 22:17, 5 June 2011 (UTC)

How is it hard to understand me can you not read english or something but anyways its true and should stay others pages say stuff like "blank" is the only man to have held these 3 or 4 titles or the only man to have done both of these feats so its the same thing and should be including into this page as its part of his legacy as the only man to do so--Black Dragon 01:09, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

You clearly don't see your horrendous grammar and punctuation, or lack thereof? Well that's another issue. Plain and simply put, explain to me how exactly are Jericho's Undisputed and tag team reigns notable as a conjunctive note in the lead?--UnquestionableTruth-- 01:31, 7 June 2011 (UTC)

I really dont have time to worry about grammar its a wikipedia page not my english homework and if this isnt notable then how about other pages saying that a wrestler i the only person to do this or when these titles its the same thing so keep it--BlackDragon 16:54, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

You should care if you want to get your point across. Other notes may be notable within other articles because of other reasons. However, you are suggesting that winning a Heavyweight title along with a tag team title is somehow notable in and of itself... doesn't seem that notable really...--UnquestionableTruth-- 19:46, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

Whatever but anyways its not winning a tag and a world title its winning on holding two world titles and two tag titles at the same time which he did no one else has. So this is notable really. Very few people even hold two titles at the same time but holding two world titles and two tag titles is impressive since no one else has so we need to keep it up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Black60dragon (talkcontribs)

1) Please fix your signature, I just had to fix it for you. 2) When did Jericho hold two world titles? the WCW title was retired when Jericho won the WWF title from Austin, which led to it being called the Undisputed WWF Championship...--UnquestionableTruth-- 19:24, 11 June 2011 (UTC)

oops sorry about my signature but anyways jericho had the wcw and the won the wwf title holding both belts the wcw championship may have been retired but held both of them at the same time doesnt matter if one was retired — Preceding unsigned comment added by Black60dragon (talkcontribs)

Except it does matter. There's a major difference in holding a title and a physical belt. A belt is not a title. A belt is only the physical representation of a title. A title is an intangible recognition of being a champion. So yes it does matter if the WCW title was retired and Jericho ended up hold two belts. Guess what? Those two belts now represented only the WWF Championship under the new name of WWF Undisputed Championship--UnquestionableTruth-- 01:19, 15 June 2011 (UTC)

Wait, so your basis for the trivia about Chris Jericho being the only unified tag team and world champion is because he got to physically hold the two World Championship belts? Hate to break it to you, once again, Triple H did just that when he beat Jericho at Wrestlemania x8.

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/89/HHHwmX8.jpg

Yes there he is, Triple H, winning the Undisputed Championship that is represented by the Big Gold Belt and the Winged Eagle Belt. So for the last time, Jericho may have been the first man but he is not the only man to have been an undisputed World Heavyweight and Tag Team Champion nor hold two of the physical belts of those championship accolades. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 111.68.59.73 (talk) 03:13, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

Your Point?--Dcheagle 03:31, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

Obviously, it's a little too late to respond considering the bit of trivia stating Jericho was the only man to have been an "undisputed world champion and unified tag team champion" has been removed from the article but I'm just stating that it was false since Triple H has earned these accolades too and yet BlackDragon still kept insisting. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 111.68.59.75 (talk) 09:28, 28 July 2011 (UTC)

Jericho retires

Himself wrote on twitter that he will never wrestle for WWE again... The fact is valid until otherwise — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yiannis4f (talkcontribs) 20:55, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
Even if it is not a work it doesn't mean he won't go to TNA or Japan or anywhere else. He never stated I will never go back to wrestling just stated he would never go back to WWE. Edshaft (talk) 21:10, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

And even then, it's hard to tell the tone from Twitter and I think he may not have spoken in earnest. Tony2Times (talk) 21:25, 14 November 2011 (UTC)

I agree with that, he is not retired... Just said that he will never wrestle for WWE... But in interviews he has said that he will not wrestle anywhere else, except from WWE...--Yiannis4f (talk) 21:48, 14 November 2011 (UTC)
Seems like Jericho is working everybody by poking at little fun at the WWE because WWE doesn't call their wrestlers wrestlers but entertainers. So he won't wrestle for the WWE again he will entertain for them. Edshaft (talk) 20:35, 17 November 2011 (UTC) That's a good point! Number of returns Jericho has made to WWE

Chris Jericho is on his THIRD stint with WWE. Therefore, this is his SECOND return.
These are the facts and they are undisputed.
KINDLY DO NOT ALTER THIS SECTION TO STATE IT'S HIS THIRD RETURN.
I'm getting really tired of reverting it. Regards, ŞůṜīΣĻ¹98¹Speak 09:15, 20 January 2012 (UTC)

Does it even need to be noted which return it is? People can count. If we applied this to Dustin Rhodes/Goldust's page his current header would read "Fifth Return to WWE", I feel it's unnecessary. Tony2Times (talk) 11:22, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
I actually do think that we should note which return it is. Two "return to WWE" back to back seems rather weird to me. But on the other hand, how about we scrap the "return to WWE"s altogether? Looking at the table of contents, there would not be 1.5 and 1.6. Instead, 1.4.6: Championship pursuits and departure (2004–2005) would be changed to 1.4.6: Championship pursuits and first hiatus (2004–2005) and 1.5.1 2nd Coming; self-righteous honest man (2007–2009) would be changed to 1.4.7 2nd Coming; self-righteous honest man (2007–2009) 1.5.2 Jeri-Show, storyline with Edge and second departure (2009–2010) would be changed to 1.4.8 Jeri-Show, storyline with Edge and second hiatus (2009–2010). Finally, 1.6.1 Raw (2012-Present) would be changed to 1.4.9 Raw (2012). Starship.paint (talk) 11:35, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
I wouldn't be opposed to that, 1.4.8 has a long title though, I think "Jeri-Show and (second) hiatus" should be enough. Also, the first paragraph under that heading begins clumsily; it's clearly been written from before there was a header split. If someone wanted to jump straight to that it doesn't read well, it should have "Also at The Bash pay-per-view/event". Tony2Times (talk) 12:03, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
As Jericho's returns have both been major storylines in their own right, there are some grounds for it being noted. ŞůṜīΣĻ¹98¹Speak 12:06, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
They are noted, in the article. Tony2Times (talk) 12:23, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
It's not that I don't want to note the returns, I just see no need to split Jericho's WWE runs up given that he hasn't joined any other wrestling company. Instead of (1. WWF/E 2. First return 3. Second return) we'll just have (1. WWF/E). Regarding the long header of Jeri-Show, it could be argued that Jeri-Show was hardly the most important event in Jericho's career in that particular subsection, his storyline WrestleMania feud with Edge over the WHC was more prominent. With that in mind what are your thoughts Tony? Starship.paint (talk) 12:31, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
I personally think Jeri-Show was more significant, it put a lot of emphasis on an otherwise ignored tag division, they main evented at least one PPV (proper main event, they were also in the WHC match at Survivor Series) and were featured on both Raw and SD for 5-6 months whereas the Edge storyline lasted about 2. But then it was at WrestleMania, so it's a bit tricky. Maybe there's a third way. Tony2Times (talk) 15:04, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
A third way? I would like to hear it. Anyway, I found the prose of articles Jericho and Show rather lacking, for example the WHC triple threat and Jericho's feud-ender steel cage with Edge wasn't even mentioned, so I updated both articles. The Edge storyline was from the Royal Rumble to Extreme Rules, wouldn't that make it about 3 months? Although it seems like Jeri-Show's longer, they were not really main-eventing all the time. Origin of "Jericho" name not correct in the article?

In his book, The Lion's Tale, Jericho stated he took the name Jericho from the Biblical incident of the Israelites conquering and destroying Jericho. This isn't mentioned in the article; instead it references that he took the name from a band. Should this be added (or re-added)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.7.158.28 (talk) 00:35, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

Where in the book does it say that? There are mentions about how the band's album influenced the name, but I don't see any specific references to the biblical incident in the book. --Jtalledo (talk) 04:26, 18 May 2012 (UTC)

Heritage

On his father's article it states that he's of Scottish descent. Naturally, it should be mentioned on Jericho's personal life as well. 108.54.57.124 (talk) 06:28, 6 November 2012 (UTC)

Walls of Jericho

Why in the world does it keep saying "elevated" Boston crab. The Walls is just a regular Boston crab. We have Liontamer as the elevated version. 96.250.209.72 (talk) 21:00, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Well, they were essentially the same move at first. At the beginning of his WWF run, he performed it the same way but gradually transitioned to a normal Boston crab for whatever reason. TheGary (talk) 01:20, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

LionTamer is a Boston Crab with a Knee on the neck of the opponent and he used the liontamer while in WCW But Walls of Jericho is an elevated boston crab as he does not sits on his opponent back --124.125.18.147 (talk) 10:31, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

Walls Of Jericho and LionTamer are different

LionTamer is a boston crab with a knee on the opponent's neck for extra pressure which he used in his WCW days. When he came to WWE he switched to Walls Of Jericho which is an elevated boston crab as he does not sits on his opponent's back ; He started started using the liontamer occasionally in 2012. So please change the written moves to two different submission moves. --124.125.18.147 (talk) 10:37, 2 April 2013 (UTC)

Strange edit glitch?

There's a sentence at the very end of the "World Championship pursuits (2011–2012)" section that states "He does not have a replica Hardcore Title as he thinks it's worthless". When I enter edit mode, or edit source mode, the text disappears and I cannot remove it. MisterMorton (talk) 22:31, 22 August 2013 (UTC)

I don't see that sentence in the text now, maybe it's solved? Starship.paint (talk) 09:16, 23 August 2013 (UTC)

removing 'personal life '

the way it stands now, i feel like all of the 'personal life' entries are about another wiki person, 'Ted Irvine'. They seem very out of place on this page, as they are not the direct personal life of Chris Jericho himself. I cannot make the edits myself, but to me, its very obvious that edits need to be made. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Xechostormx (talkcontribs) 10:08, 28 November 2013 (UTC)

The only sentence which is referring to "Ted Irvine" is the first one. All the rest are about Christopher Irvine / Chris Jericho. I have re-ordered the "father" bit to the second paragraph, and added "Christopher" to the first paragraph. I hope this clears up the confusion, thank you Xechostormx. Trained by Mr. Hito?

Can someone add a refercence for Jericho being trained by Mr. Hito? Jericho is American?

Shouldn't he be described as American, rather than Canadian-American? He was born in the US, and lives in the US.

And then he moved to Canada, where he was raised by two Canadians until he was about 21. Tony2Times (talk) 23:58, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
Not only was he born in the US, he now lives in the US once again. You haven't addressed this fact. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.5.94.52 (talk) 09:38, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
It's addressed by him described as Canadian-American, not just Canadian. Tony2Times (talk) 10:23, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
He did, just because he was born and now lives in the US doesn't make him any less Canadian because both of his parents are Canadian and he was raised in Canada and is a Canadian Citizen. Which means because he was born in the US and grew up in Canada he is a Canadian-American. I hope that answers your question.--Dcheagle 10:12, 24 October 2011 (UTC)
See Multiple citizenship for more information. Jericho has stated in his first autobiography that he has Canadian and American passports. ŞůṜīΣĻ¹98¹Speak 10:36, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
I disagree... Although Jericho was born in the US, he considers himself a Canadian. I'm having difficulty deciding whether I should remove him from Category:American_rock_singers and placing him in Category:Canadian_rock_singers. His father is Canadian, his mother was a Canadian, so that makes him a Canadian born in New York City. The "he lives in the US" rule, therefore he's an American makes zero sense. I'm going to send a tweet to Chris and ask him. If he says he's a Canadian, he will be a Canadian. Russ Jericho (talk) 11:27, 27 July 2012 (UTC)

He is Canadian and American. While he identifies more as a Canadian, he's a dual citizen, legally. People need to realize that citizenship/nationality is a legal manner. It does not matter how you view him, he is still both Canadian and American. He clearly states this in his first book. He also said he's proud to be North American (referencing the fact he holds dual citizenship). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.118.13.97 (talk) 11:25, 20 May 2015 (UTC)

How is Jericho's shot at the ECW title at a 1996 HOUSE SHOW relevant to the lede?

Jeff Jarrett got a shot at the WWF title on Raw in 1995, and it's correctly NOT mentioned in his lede because he was simply a body in a match, not to be perceived as a main event talent until years later. Forcing Jericho's 1996 ECW HOUSE SHOW title shot (that means untelevised and non-canon, just to clarify) into the lede here, then jumping directly to his world title count, is a carefully rigged, manipulative way to make casual readers think he's been a top-level star since 1996, when in reality he wasn't that until late 2001. I have modified the text to illustrate what actually went on.

Obvious fan ScrapIronIV thinks the ECW house show title shot should stay, so I ask for the input of others. Do we delete this text, or leave it and go about mentioning in Virgil's lede that he got a nail-biting, "who's-gonna-win?" title shot against Bret Hart on Superstars in 1992? DoubleYouSeaDoubleYou (talk) 10:21, 29 September 2015 (UTC)

I am not a fan at all; in fact, I have little or no interest in wrestling. My issue is with content - it is an adequately sourced bit of the subject's history, and should remain unless there is consensus to remove it. An athlete's first opportunity for a title is inherently notable. And, no, I don't believe that this was carefully rigged and maipulative. I did not read it is being described. What is contained here in this article has nothing to do with what is - or is not - contained in another article. ScrpIronIV 13:06, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
You have a history of editing this article, which led me to believe you were a fan. That you are not a fan of wrestling makes a great deal of sense, because that puts you in a position to be unaware that house shows are not canon and are therefore not notable events within the storyline-driven business of pro wrestling. Jericho's first canon world title shot was on the April 17, 2000 episode of WWF Raw, and his first world title win occurred at the No Mercy pay-per-view in October 2001. Prior to the turn of the millennium, he was a bona fide mid card performer. DoubleYouSeaDoubleYou (talk) 13:54, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
I have a history of editing this article because it has become a target for vandals in recent months; caught an issue with it on patrol once and it stays in my watchlist. Reading your explanation, I would remove it from the lede, but I would not remove it from the article entirely. Unless, of course, you are saying that wrestling is rigged, and he never actally had a title shot... in which case, I will be shocked (SHOCKED, I tell you!) to hear the professional wrestling isn't entirely unscripted. ScrpIronIV 14:57, 29 September 2015 (UTC)
@DoubleYouSeaDoubleYou: So you ARE saying, in Wikipedia's voice, that wrestling is rigged? ScrpIronIV 13:32, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
He had a title shot, it's just not important. It's not part of storyline nor has it received any coverage. DoubleYouSeaDoubleYou (talk) 15:46, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
Any athlete's first title shot - particularly in martial sports - is inherently notable. Your edit summary stated "per Talk" and the discussion was whether it belonged in the lede, not whether it belonged in the article. So, in order for it to be not notable enough to include in the article at all, it must have been rigged for him to not ACTUALLY have a shot, just to give the APPEARANCE that he had a shot. That is the only way that this discussion could have been construed to remove the mention from the article. "Storyline"...? Wresting has a "storyline"? It's not a bunch of athletes competing at their finest wo be the best of the best? ScrpIronIV 16:09, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
So you're trolling? That's fair enough. We'll leave the article as is, given that the title shot isn't notable. DoubleYouSeaDoubleYou (talk) 16:13, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
Take a look at my edit history, and remove the personal attack. If Wrestling is a genuine sport, a title shot is notable. The short summary of title shots that was removed will be restored, as notable to the athlete's history. Continued insistence that this sourced content is not relevant to a "storyline" or "official canon" of some behind the scenes wrestling cabal is not historical, and will be treated as such. ScrpIronIV 16:18, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
"If Wrestling is a genuine sport..."
It isn't. DoubleYouSeaDoubleYou (talk) 16:39, 5 October 2015 (UTC)

Who is Paul talking to when he calls Shane?

Chris, the designation of global sports entertainment history belongs to you of 'yore. AJ was shutdown by The Miz last Monday night however, AJ must rize and defend the Peachtree state. Miz used Hollywood mystique to hypnotize AJ and in my eyes, fail to respond appropriately with respect to the global appeal of British Southern Gentlemen. Part time appearances

I really think the section for Jericho's part-time contract should be left as one section, and not split into a "face" and "heel" run. I also debate the fact that Jericho is actually a heel now, as he did not turn on Jericho after their match on Smackdown. Jericho and Styles' rivalry has remained for the most part respectful, so I feel that it's too early to make the assumption that he's turned. Cms0678 (talk) 09:54, 11 February 2016 (UTC)

Jericho "knocked out" by Sin Cara (Hunico) in November 2016?

This information has been added to the article per an International Business Times piece which uses MLW Radio as a reference point.[1] MLW stated on November 6: "Hunico remains undefeated as WWE locker room refuses to accept this man as the baddest man on the planet. #Y2JKOd". For what it's worth, WP:COMMON tells me this was just a farcical comment.

The same day, an unscathed Jericho made an Instagram video. He had also travelled to the next town (Glasgow, from an English venue where he was supposedly "knocked out").[2] Jericho remains advertised for the show;[3] WP:COMMON tells me WWE would have pulled him for testing had he been lying unconscious in a locker room hours before.

Elsewhere, it's been reported that Jericho won the fight.[4] 185.17.159.107 (talk) 15:21, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

Jericho responded: "[I] haven't been KOd since 1994 in Hakata Star Lanes [Arena]. Another example of shoddy, uninformed "journalism" from the stupid idiots at MLW."[5]
I am removing this material from the article based on conflicting reports and a categorical denial by Jericho. 185.17.159.122 (talk) 16:42, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

Tattoos

In his personal life section, in the third paragraph about his tattoos, it says that his fifth tattoo is a self portrait on his left bicep but this is not true. It is a Jason Voorhees hockey mask and Canadian flag. I can't edit the page myself, I guess as a new user, but here is a link to his tweet about it, if that can be used as a credible source?

Nicknames

Jericho used to use the self proclaimed nickname of being a "living legend", as this article shows. However, very often he, or JR and King on commentary, would use a longer version: "The Larger Than Life, Living Legend". With that in mind, shouldn't the article use the full version in his list of nicknames?

JR also referred to Jericho as "The King of Bling Bling", and I can't remember exactly when to provide a source, but I remember it was on PPV in 2002, either Summerslam against Flair or in the Elimination Chamber at Survivor Series. This could be an alternate version of "The King of His World", but I disagree with that idea. I believe it is a different nickname. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.232.228.179 (talk) 04:44, 18 June 2017 (UTC)

WWE Contract

The following quote is the second sentence of the lead section.

"He is also currently competing in WWE as a signed talent, where he makes sporadic appearances on a part-time basis on both the Raw and SmackDown brands."

He mentioned in an interview as recently as April which you can see here, he says he is on a per appearance "one and done" type deals when he appears in the WWE. At the 7:38 mark he says he is not contracted. I know removing or modifying it would have people up in arms. It needs to be corrected. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 07:58, 18 June 2018 (UTC)

Inaccuracies in the first sentence.

The part that says "who is currently signed to All Elite Wrestling (AEW), where he is also an executive producer, director, cameraman, pyrotechnician, stage manager, wardrobe and makeup artist,[5] and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW)." This was a joke in the closing credits of an episode of AEW dynamite, he actually isn't any of those things. Also the end of the sentence "and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW)." doesn't make any sense. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jkrausser (talkcontribs) 05:24, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

Please removed the below content from the last paragraph of PERSONAL LIFE.

Jericho began attracting controversy in late 2019. He hosted Donald Trump Jr. on his podcast in November 2019,[381] and donated a substantial amount of money—possibly more than the allowed limit—to Donald Trump's 2020 re-election campaign.[382] In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, he continued to perform concerts with his band; one such concert took place at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in August 2020, which was later confirmed to be a superspreading event with 266,000 cases of the virus traced back to it.[383][384] Around this time, he began giving conspiracy theorists a platform on his podcast to promote their beliefs in the flat earth myth and the COVID-19 pandemic not being a "real pandemic".[385] In January 2021, his wife posted Instagram pictures of herself at pro-Trump rallies and that month's storming of the United States Capitol.[386][387] In March, he tweeted his agreement that lockdown restrictions in Nevada should be lifted despite the pandemic still continuing.[388] RafHarrington (talk) 22:09, 5 April 2021 (UTC)
