Even though I was one of the delete voters in the prior AFD discussion, it has to be noted that the discussion was on a poorly sourced and poorly written version which staked his notability solely on the "Northern Touch" feature itself, and completely missed the Juno nomination that actually clinches him per NMUSIC #8 — it was only when I started to fix the problems with our Juno Award for Rap Recording of the Year article, some time after the original deletion, that I found out about the Juno nomination. Accordingly, I'm leaving this note here to clarify why I recreated an article that I had personally advocated deletion for a year ago: we missed something important. Mea culpa. Also note that I used stronger sources for the recreation than the prior version had even attempted to find. So this is not speedy deletable as a recreation of previously deleted content, as both the basic notability claim and the quality of the sources being used to support it have been upcycled.
