The article currently suggests the castle is "now a ruin". However, unless there's another Carrigrohane Castle nearby, surely that's not the case(?) As of May 2015 (per the Examiner), it's for sale as a family home. While it did become dilapidated in the early 19th century, and perhaps the Fullarton text from the 1840s was accurate at that point, it was restored in the latter 19th century, before (per the Indo) Leo O'Brien' renovated it more completely in the 1970s. Is the scope of this article perhaps a completely different and earlier structure of the same name? Or, is the issue that the key source we are using is the 170 year-old Fullarton text? (If so, and the information is 170 years out-of-date, then I don't think I've every come across an article more in need of an "needs update to reflect recent events" template :) Other thoughts before we consider how to address? Done Having heard no other thoughts, I have updated per above. As noted, while the Fullarton text may have been accurate in the mid-19th century, as of the early-21st century, the castle is clearly no longer a ruin.[1].
