2001? I know for a fact the Boston Cream Pie has to be older than that, because they were around when I was a kid. Also, who is this Mr. King?Bjones
Picture edit
I think there should definitely be a picture of this. Why hasn't anyone done it yet? ForestAngel 21:41, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
I have a picture of the Omni Parker House Hotel's Boston Cream Pie from when we visited Boston a few years ago. I'll dig it out. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ptomkz (talk • contribs) 19:59, 4 April 2011 (UTC)
Distribution? edit
Is this variation found widely distributed outside of Massachusetts? If not, why not? For example, Key lime pie might be the official pie of the state of Florida, but it's found throughout the United States and possibly the world. Why might this be true for Key lime pie but not Boston cream pie? Viriditas (talk) 11:47, 8 December 2014 (UTC)
I can get it in California. I think it is all over.
This article makes me hungry. 213.205.240.185 (talk) 23:19, 27 February 2021 (UTC)

Description edit
Does this need a fuller description? It seems to be written assuming the reader already knows what it is, and mainly focuses on the history and variations. Surely better to focus on what it actually is? Gymnophoria (talk) 16:13, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
Merge proposal edit
I propose merging Boston cream doughnut into Boston cream pie. I think the content in the Boston cream pie page can easily be explained in the Variations section of the Boston cream pie page, and a merge would not cause any article-size or weighting problems in the Boston cream pie article. BaduFerreira (talk) 18:34, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
- I think that's a good idea. Maybe the article itself could just be called "Boston Cream" and have the pie and Donut have their own section. BlackBeauty42! (talk) 18:12, 28 March 2024 (UTC)
- Agree, there are lots of varieties of donuts that don't need their own articles. Covering this in the main Boston cream pie page makes sense. Reywas92Talk 15:13, 5 April 2024 (UTC)
