edit"Hurley's pickup truck was slammed into by a reckless driver by the name of Daniel Wieland, a painter"
Sources please. 1) how do you know he was a reckless driver 2) How do you know his name 3) The fact that he was a "painter" is irrevelant/vague (was he an artist painter or a handyman painter?) 4) You forgot to mention that his NBA career flopped —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.154.212.191 (talk) 20:58, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
(2/10/10 queries:) The article now reads: "Hurley's Toyota 4Runner was slammed into by a painter named Daniel Wieland." Was this painter driving a vehicle? Or, was he out jogging? Inquiring minds want to know.
Another question: The paragraph on Hurley's high school career ends with this sentence: "Hurley has been considered one of the greatest point guards in NCAA history." Should that read "in high school history"? Or, should it be moved to section on Hurley's college career? Also, why the perfect tense ("has been considered ..."). Is Hurley no longer considered one of the all-time greats? Perhaps it should read "is considered".
Finally, some details on Hurley's post-accident NBA career would be welcome. My recollection is that Hurley's game was not the same after the accident, but that he did occasionally have some good games. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.186.233.18 (talk) 21:15, 10 February 2010 (UTC)
I had read that the accident gave Hurley "life-threatening" injuries but his condition was upgraded from critical to serious within a week because he apparently recovered from the accident at an incredibly fast rate. "Life-threatening" therefore could be a deceptive term. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.242.176.66 (talk) 00:17, 31 October 2023 (UTC)
