The result of the move request was: merged to Birecik. Jenks24 (talk) 13:23, 9 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Birtha (Commagene)Birtha (Osrhoene) – The old name was based on the mistaken information in an 1845 source unanimously contradicted by more modern sources. Both sides are represented in the present provisional text, which will have to be rewritten in harmony with the proposed new title. A simpler remedy would perhaps be to merge this article into that on Birecik. Relisted. Jenks24 (talk) 11:58, 25 August 2014 (UTC) Esoglou (talk) 16:44, 14 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • Support merge into Birecik. It appears to be the same place, an accidental content fork. --SmokeyJoe (talk) 06:20, 2 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
  • Support merge into Birecik. As hinted above, that is what I really prefer. Esoglou (talk) 07:35, 2 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
I have expanded the Birecik article to include information on its ancient name (and more). I think it is enough now to change this article into a REDIRECT to Birecik. Esoglou (talk) 15:57, 2 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
