More info

edit

There is more good information on the types of bird food in the bird feeder article than in this article. It might be good to list some of the common types of bird food, and which birds eat which food and then link some of those (perhaps suet, for example) back here. Bird Food

edit

"Humans generally enjoy eating bird food." ?! LOL XD I love to eat bird food since a lot of it has dried fruits and seeds, etc. and it is almost evolved into trail mix and party mix but seriously how many people eat bird food?! In-Correct (talk) 22:38, 9 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

It was vandalism introduced into the article by an anon a month ago. I've restored the previous wording. Thanks for flagging that up. --Kurt Shaped Box (talk) 23:16, 9 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Definition

edit

Would it be appropriate to link the dictionary definition of “bird food“?

I am a strong advocate for the topic and it might be beneficial to have a respected dictionary support our definition. Probably not a pigeon (talk) 06:23, 19 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Opinions

edit

I'm new to this and not confident enough to make a major edit. But wouldn't paragraphs 3 and 4 where it talks about fillers and popular feeders be considered opinion? Swelds (talk) 13:39, 6 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

You do realise that things like grains and bread are from seeds or made from seeds, right?

edit

So what exactly makes it appropriate to put them in the non-seed section? I know someone likely wouldn't say they're feeding birds seed if they feed them these things, but they are still seed. Grey Clownfish (talk) 03:12, 7 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
