If the article is kept, should we speedy move this page to "Bill and Maria Bell residence" (or some variation of that) immediately, or should I take it to a RM discussion, as some have mentioned that it probably shouldn’t have the address as the title. Just thinking in good faith to protect the current residents btw! TheSpacebook (talk) 14:31, 2 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Keep at current name. No reasonable argument could be made changing the name protects Beyonce and Jay-Z. That is infantilizing and I think charitably its a delusion of grandeur (wikipedia isn't *that* important and powerful). Horse Eye's Back (talk) 14:49, 2 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
The high end reliable sources for the article The Guardian, The Los Angeles Times and Architectural Digest don’t include the address. It’s only unreliable sources that include BOTH the address and say the musicians live at that address, or sources that are strictly talking about the body of architecture. BLP has a blanket policy of “presumption in the favor of privacy” and I think this should maybe be applied here too. TheSpacebook (talk) 14:56, 2 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
First things first; it may be deleted or (my preference as I've stated at the AfD) turned into a redirect to the page on the architect. Horse Eye's Back and I have both now put in a lot of rewriting work to try to make sure that mirror sites and sites that preserve deleted articles (and hopefully Google's knowledge graph) match the title and reflect the original emphasis on the house, its architect, and its record-setting price. If it's kept, we can discuss moving it to some variant of Bell residence or something like that. Let the deletion discussion play out. (Apologies for adding the missing apostrophe in the section header. I couldn't stand yet another section header with that mistake.) Yngvadottir (talk) 03:02, 3 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
