"Taiwanese Chronicle of Chinese Dynasty Yuan" edit

I deleted this reference which is used by the previous editor to prove that the initial Polish success shocked the Mongols. The reference is a Polish webpage where it is claimed such shock is recorded in a "Taiwanese Chronicle of Chinese Dynasty Yuan". This is totally anachronistic since at that time, there is barely any human being capable of writing living in the undeveloped island of Taiwan. How could a "Taiwanese Chronicle" be invented? The original writer of that Polish web page probably referred to some Chinese History Chronicle printed by current Taiwanese (or ROC) publisher. It is then necessary to really find this Chinese History Book (likely "Yuanshi", History of Yuan) and locate the relevant record, before using it as a valid reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.72.148.7 (talk) 21:36, 9 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

The reference is back. There are some real nutty Polish nationalists on the web I know. Many Chinese treasures and manuscripts were brought to Taiwan by nationalists (KMT) in their defeat during the civil war, so it is possibly one of these but the source needs to be named. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.104.160.57 (talk) 20:56, 6 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

I edited out the Taiwanese chronicle nonsense again, and added a cautionary note about using jan długosz, who tries to excuse every Mongol victory as the Poles being heavily outnumbered and losing due to some lucky trick. These wacko European nationalists have some major ego problems about the first Mongol invasion and we have to be on our guard.73.247.69.66 (talk) 00:49, 12 October 2017 (UTC)BaldwinReply
