the biography here seems a bit too brief. potter was an outstanding high school player (undefeated, boys' #1) as well a distinguished artist and student at the taft school in watertown, ct. she deferred princeton to play pro. worked as color commentator for network telecasts. mentioned in david foster wallace's "how tracy austin broke my heart."
