B. Wayne Huges is also a general partner in an investment called P.S. Marina's. He is currently asking to be removed from the partnership as general partner. A entity is being substituted in his place that probably has much less substance than B. Wayne. B. Wayne is being asked to be relieved of all liabilities and will allow his partners to get a minimal distribution, one of the very few the partners have received in the almost 20 year history of the investment.

Personal Life Correction edit

Hi, I have a few corrections to the B. Wayne Hughes page that I’d like implemented - I didn’t want to do them myself because I have a conflict-of-interest as an employee of the Hughes family. The proposed corrections in the Personal Life section fix multiple false and unsupported statements. Hughes did not have any children with Patricia Whitecraft. I have listed and sourced his previous marriages and their resulting offspring, and replaced weak and incorrect sources with supporting reliable sources. E.g. Removed Thoroughbred Racing (does not mention marriage), | an unreliable gossip blog and Washington Post (does not mention Hughes or Whitcraft).

  • In the Personal Life section, please change the first paragraph FROM:
Hughes was married to Patricia Whitcraft until his death.[1][2][3] Together, they had three children: Tamara Gustavson, B. Wayne Hughes Jr., and Parker Hughes, who died in 1998 when he was eight years old, after suffering from childhood leukemia.[4]

TO: Hughes married Marjorie McKechnie in 1958.[5] Their son B. Wayne Hughes Jr. was born in 1959, and daughter Tamara in 1961.[5] The couple divorced in 1975.[5] He married Kathleen Becker in 1983.[5] They had one son, Parker, born in 1990.[5] Parker died in 1998 at eight years old from childhood leukemia.[4] Hughes married his third wife, Patricia Whitcraft, in 2017.[5] Wiki64gus (talk) 16:30, 2 September 2022 (UTC) Wiki64gus (talk) 16:30, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
