oldest surviving atmospheric theater in Canada?
editAs I noted on Talk:Port Hope, Ontario, claims that "Lido Theatre in The Pas, Manitoba, CAN...is Canada's oldest surviving atmospheric theatre...the quality of service [is] moving steadily down-hill," & the Port Hope article's claim that
"The Capitol Theatre is Canada's last functioning atmospheric theatre." cannot both be true. If quality of service is declining at the Lido, it must still be functioning. Bustter (talk) 03:06, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
Paramount Theatre, Abilene, TX
editBuilt in 1930 and restored in 1986, this cinema seats about 1100 in a Spanish-Moorish style, split aisle theater. It has twinkling lights on the ceiling and projected clouds.
