Still alive? edit

Is Pomodoro still alive? If so, should intro have "is an Italian sculptor" instead of "was an Italian sculptor"? Or has he stopped sculpting? --A bit iffy 12:50, 9 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Right you are, I think he's still alive. And he's probably sill sculpting unless he's unwell. --Jason 16:41, 10 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

The sphere within a sphere could previously be pushed to spin around its base, however age and weather has made it extremely difficult to do this anymore. Not particularly encyclopedic but it used to amuse the tourists. The story I heard goes that the sculpture was gifted to Trinity College but the cost of transporting such a large and heavy sculpture from Italy turned out to be very very expensive. -- Horkana 15:36, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

A bronze copy of "Sphere Within Sphere" can also be found in Tel-Aviv University, Israel. (in the lobby of the "senate building"). --magneez 9:14, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
