Copyrighted material edit

I have removed copyrighted material from the article pending permission for its use. I sent the author an email on December 12, 2005. See Tartarean Desire for the original article. ~MDD4696 (talkcontribs) 04:06, 13 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

I received permission from Tartarean Desire to post the material with proper credits, however I learned that their biography of Aria is simply a (probably Babelfish) translation of the band's official biography in Russian. I'm not sure how copyrights relate to translations... ~MDD4696 (talkcontribs) 23:11, 15 December 2005 (UTC)Reply
IANAL, but translations are derivative works, so you can't post this here unless you can get the band to release the original under the GFDL. If the translation includes refactoring and editing it would get more complicated (see idea-expression divide) but a straight babel-fish would definitely result in no change in copyright ownership. - Re-arranged discography, created page for Megalomania album. Note: when transliterating phrases with numbers e.g. 2000 Одна Ночь, they remain as numerals in the transliteration.

Changed translation of a single Chuzhoy edit

I've changed single title translation from Stranger to Alien, because cover and lyrics strongly suggest that's actually Alien not Stranger...

Video link edit

YouTube link is not a spam. It is often used around Wikipedia. Look here, here, there, here or there, for example. Garret Beaumain 03:45, 28 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

That's a weak status quo argument. I don't see why the video is particularly interesting, or worth including. Superm401 - Talk 01:50, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
The link that i removed had nothing to do with Aria.Shrike 21:58, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

The current link is correct. Garret Beaumain 22:26, 29 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Finding Citations edit

Good article: one thing I would definitely get to work on though is finding citations for some sections, like under "Rise to Fame" for example. Also, in the very first paragraph, it would probably be best to have a citation regarding the writers/creators of the lyrics (that seems to be an important fact), since there doesn't seem to be any footnotes at all. Other than that, очень хорошо.MegaloNickoloff (talk) 02:31, 14 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
