(1) Who said the record was "relatively unnoticed"? If you want to make that claim, you need an objective source. (2) NFL records are, according to their website, officially measured in whole yards. Stop deleting the information about the Jets other 2010 off-season moves

Cromartie was a big part of the moves the Jets made during the off-season and it is important to provide context for his move to NY. Is this information an essential part of who he is as a person or what he accomplishes on the field? When it comes down to it not really. Yes, he is part of a good team however this biography is about his life and what he does on the field not about the team and their odds of winning. If anything this belongs under the 2010 New York Jets season. And before you start reverting edits (as you already have done), you should discuss the matter beforehand so we don't have to go back and forth. The Writer 2.0 ^Talk 11:02, 20 October 2010 (UTC)

In any case, someone who knows the Chargers needs to work on consolidating the info here; among other things, the chronology stinks, and there are two apparently contradictory claims about how Cromartie became a starter. Haitian?

There's no hard evidence anywhere on the internet that Cromartie and his family are Haitian other than his last name sounding kind of French. In fact quite the opposite: Cromartie is a Scottish name, and profile articles about Antonio and his cousins mention nothing about Haitian heritage and in fact discuss multiple generations of football talent in his family, well before the main waves of Haitian immigration to America.

The source used to describe him as Haitian is a brief, lazily-written press release by the NFL that's only criteria for Haitian-ness is being a black guy with a French-sounding name; for example, Pierre Thomas is incorrectly listed as Haitian simply for having the first name Pierre.

It might be time to remove references to Haitian heritage on pages for all the Cromarties until there's some hard sources confirming it.

Number of children

The article says "The couple has five children." I suspect there are six in the household as her pregnancy announcement was about #6 and that they already have three girls and two boys. This U.S. Weekly report also mentions six kids and includes a copy of their Terricka Cromartie's [https://www.instagram.com/p/BOc6QuXAEvA/ Christmas 2016 Instagram post which shows the five kids they had at the time. I'm assuming the oldest daughter is from a previous relationship but we don't know if she's his or her daughter.

I'd update the article now but it would look strange to say they have six children and to name plus date five of them. We need a WP:RS for the oldest daughter. --Marc Kupper|talk 23:16, 9 September 2017 (UTC)

I found a clue that the daughter is likely Terricka's here where she says "This was one of the best pregnancies I've had out of all five I've had. Half the time I didn't even feel that I was pregnant. I had the most amazing delivery. I felt amazing having my sixth child!" "all plays are rounded down to the nearest yard"

Would someone with reliable knowledge or reference correct this phrase in the middle of the article. There's a clear error as worded. One aspect is that lacks an obvious qualifier, such as ", unless below one yard". A rushing score from under one yards is rounded up. There is some possible uncertainty on this as well, perhaps only applying to plays from scrimmage. For example, there are zero yard punt returns, and zero yard fumble and interception returns.

Another possible correction is if the intent was to say that all _scores_ are rounded down to the nearest yard (unless below one yard)? A simple example of the fallacy of the statement as exists is when a team offensively gains 4.4 yards from scrimmage on one play, then 5.6. I believe that it would be scored as 4 and 6. Changing that example to a gain of 4.8 and then 5.2 would really exercise the claim that yards are rounded down (rather than rounded off) "ever"; would that be scored as 5 and 5, or rounded down to 4 on the first, so 4 and 6?

My belief is that the result of any non scoring play is rounded to an integer yard line in the range of 1 to 50, and scoring plays are effectively the "0 yard line" for distance calculation; if that is the arrangement, it would explain why a scoring play from scrimmage must be 1 or more yards.
