How can this be correct? As far as I know the iranian IRGC came into existance after the revolution and in the early stages of the war with Iraq. I don't think it existed in 1978 as the article claims(Shamkhani was a IRGC commander in Ahvaz). Can someone clarify this??? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tototom (talkcontribs).
