Public Intoxication edit

Can anyone provide a citaiton to the section stating that there is no law against public intoxication? I find this very hard to believe. I have added a [citation needed] tag. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.59.163.102 (talk) 23:14, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

I thought it was legal to for minors to drink alcohol in private, just not buy it.

Seems that New York State Authorities want to control ALL of your personal/private life!!

-- Response to above, with my apologies because I'm not familiar with Wikipedia editing: Your understanding was partly correct. The NY Senate's website states the law as "A person under the age of twenty-one years may possess any alcoholic beverage with intent to consume if the alcoholic beverage is given [...] to the person under twenty-one years of age by that person's parent or guardian."

Basically, a parent or guardian can choose to provide alcohol for consumption by their own kid. If the neighbor's kid drinks it, that's illegal. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.76.37.144 (talk) 19:18, 20 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Photo edit

The photo on this page shows a liquor store in Colorado, particularly with beer and wine being sold in the same store, which can't be done in NY. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.93.30.151 (talk) 12:57, 9 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

I removed the picture, as it added nothing to the article. -- Wywin (talk | contribs) 15:42, 13 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Stub with almost no content, seems that it can be adequately covered here. Apocheir (talk) 02:42, 17 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
