Phonology references edit

There are no references cited in the phonology section. Where do the charts and discussion of allophones come from? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 135.23.141.26 (talk) 20:03, 10 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

If possible, I would like to re-arrange portions of the lead on the current article since peer reviews state that while informative, touches a wide variety of topics (such as the history of the language) should be placed into its own category. Additionally, adding a small article that shows how Akatek is connected to other Mayan languages could also be helpful as opposed to referencing them several times throughout the article. Based on the peer reviews, I would have to add images to the article to make it more appealing and interesting to the reader. Another thing would be that I would like to edit the lead so it is not as “wordy” as one of the peer reviews stated and make it more clear and more concise. Also, I would add a section about morphology, syntax, and possibly semantics. I would maybe expand more on the demographics when it comes to the Akatek language as well as its geography like a peer recommended us to do. Dquin3 (talk) 21:20, 2 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
There isn't anything I can comment on that hasn't already been stated. The lead needs to be rearranged and more information needs to be added to all of the linguistic categories of the language. These are things I would like to accomplish. Softstarkid (talk) 21:40, 3 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
