Allied warships sunk by Aichi D3As

USS Yorktown was sunk by the submarine I-185 having been damaged by both Vals and Kates. Mortal damage to Lexington (gasoline vapor) was dealt by a torpedo from a Kate, Hornet was sunk by a Japanese destroyer, having been damaged by Vals and a US destroyer torpedo, but the fate-sealing damage was from a Kate torpedo. And the page on USS Ommaney Bay says it was sunk by a twin engined kamikaze (D3a has 1 engine),

• Also USS Benham is listed as being sunk by a Val, but the article for Benham says it was sunk by a torpedo (which Vals don't carry AFAIK) Masterblooregard (talk) 21:54, 1 June 2012 (UTC)

About manufacture

I have question about manufacture of this aircraft in this article. It claims manufacture is Aichi Kokuki (愛知機械工業/Aichi Kokuki), but it was established in 1943, and at first it was manufactured by Aichi Tokei Denki (愛知時計電機/Aichi clock electric).

Aichi Kokuki was a section of aircraft industry in Aichi Tokei, but they were separated for wartime rationalization and now both are different company. Because of it, I think both different company should be written as Japanese wikipedia's article, but how do you think about it? Aizenns (talk) 11:10, 16 September 2023 (UTC)
