Wrong or unclear statements
editLots of stuff needs to be verified. E.g. "she was the first female physician in Switzerland" -- In Switzerland, women were allowed to study medicine since around 1870. Female doctors had successful practices before 1900. Thus, Speyr cannot be the first one. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.188.230.28 (talk) 17:08, 29 March 2017 (UTC)

NPOV/Primary sources
editThis article reads less like an encyclopedia and more like hagiography. Critical views on von Speyr are not substantially presented and inasmuch as they are referenced are always dismissed with a reference to Balthasar. Balthasar himself is absolutely not a disinterested third party; the work of the two parties was conceived by them as constituting a whole and the vast majority of citations are from the work of Balthasar and von Speyr.
