I am having trouble finding other refs than that interview for the lions; the interview is with Zbigniew Mieczkowski, war veteran and amateur historian (he presided over a librarian commission taking care of Polish war time documents in London and is an editor and/or author of some history books: [1]). He states: "Senator Adolf Bniński, były wojewoda poznański, po długich torturach, zginął jak pierwsi chrześcijanie – wrzucono go do klatki lwów w zoo." which translates as "Senator Adolf Biński, former voivode of Poznań, after long tortures died like first Christians - he was thrown into a lion cage in a zoo." --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 17:11, 6 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
