There is mention of this project by a former CIA employee, Victor_Marchetti in the BBC documentary The Living Dead: Part 2 - You Have Used Me As A fish Long Enough by Adam_Curtis. Pounds

Why is the cost of surgical and training expenses given in British pounds? Could somebody find the equivalent, at the time, in USD? That would seem more appropriate for a CIA project. --TheMadBaron 09:31, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

As mentioned in the above part where it is asked whether this is real and possible, there is mention of this C.I.A. project in a BBC documentary. Look above a link to the video and the timing of the fragment. Marchetti talks about how the taxi ran over the cat: "So that was 25 million dollars down the drain." I disagree, because the mention of it as part of a wider attempt to control animals and humans in the Cold War era is clearly stated in the BBC documentary I have provided a link for above, by actual C.I.A. agents. Simonhold (talk) 22:53, 15 June 2011 (UTC)

Faulty Geography

The Soviet Embassy compound on Wisconsin Avenue was built in the late 1970s. This episode occurred in the 1960s, during which time the Soviets worked exclusively out of their embassy on 16th Street. Zozoulia (talk) 14:14, 11 August 2021 (UTC)
