Why I removed what I did remove. edit

A discography, from what I know, is a list of released albums. It's probably readily available on any band website. This article was strange by mentioning which things or bands were not included. If you have put out albums, list them. It should be simplified. - XF Law - 14:18, 12 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I agree with the removal as that sentence seemed rather excessive and cumbersome. However, things like singles, LPs and music videos ought to be included in discographies as they deal with more than just the albums a band produces. So, I don't think the list should (or could) become more simplified, especially since it is up for FAC. - Yohhans talk 14:59, 12 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
The sentence was included because that's how other featured discographies have it. Jennavecia (Talk) 15:07, 12 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have removed the Hot 100 Airplay chart positions for "Weak and Powerless" and "The Outsider" because Hot 100 positions are already listed and are pretty much the same for each song. Also added Australian and Dutch chart positions. AcousticSynth (talk) 14:22, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Knowledge is Power. edit

Do any die hards know exactly how many b-sides or unreleased vids are on amotion, so the last sentence can be as accurate as possible? XF Law (talk) 03:23, 15 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I'm trying to find someone with aMotion. If I can't, I may just buy it myself. Jennavecia (Talk) 20:41, 15 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Names of albums edit

I don't know what drug encouraged the casing of these names, but the aPc website has the albums listed as: eMOTIVe and aMOTION. So what do we do? XF Law (talk) 01:57, 20 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think the MoS states to use regular casing and redirect other spellings. I'll get on that if it's not already done. Jennavecia (Talk) 18:14, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Broken references edit

Apparently about half of our references for this article are broken. Here's the list of pages that fail to load.

7. australian-charts.com
8. austriancharts.at
10. finnishcharts.com
11. escharts.com
13. dutchcharts.nl
14. charts.org.nz
15. norwegiancharts.com
16. swedishcharts.com
17. hitparade.ch
20. billboard.com
21. australian-charts.com

I think most of these chart sites were from the same company. I assume that company or site has gone under and so this is probably going to affect a whole lot of articles. Any help in replacing these would be great. لennavecia 05:16, 2 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

It must have been a temporary problem as they all appear to work for me. --JD554 (talk) 10:58, 2 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
All are working perfectly. Cannibaloki 13:11, 2 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
\o/ O, good! They're all up for me now, too. Okay, nevermind! لennavecia 19:10, 2 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Some comments I noticed why looking at this article edit

I noticed there are some problems with this article and believe they should be fixed to keep up to FL criteria:

Lead

Start off with "The discography of..."
The intro sentence should include the one EP that was released
Expand RIAA the first time

Albums

Formatted incorrectly. Check Wikipedia:DISCOGSTYLE#Samples for how it should be
Should be only 10 peak positions, not 13
Certifications and sales should be in separate columns
Ref 19 should not have a space after the sales amount. It should be directly after the number.

Extended plays

Formatted incorrectly

Singles

Formatted incorrectly
There should not be a ref the in "Peak positions" part of the table
US, US Main., US Mod., and UK needs a ref
I thought the Billboard Hot 100 only did top 100 songs. How did Judith charted 105?

Video albums/Music videos

Combine into a "Videography" section and have Video albums and Music videos subsections
Put the references next to the director of the music video, not at the top.

References

Use citation templates instead
Be consistent with dates. Some are in YYYY-MM-DD and some are in MMMM-DD-YYYY
Ref 1
Wikileak Colorado Springs Independent
Ref 3
URL links to all US certifications for everyone
Ref 4
URL does not exist
Date of publication does not belong in parenthesis unless an author is given
Ref 6
URL leads to billboard.com home page
Ref 7–8, 10–17
Publisher is Hung Medien which should be added
Ref 18
Incorrect title
Ref 19
Author is Paul Grein
Publication date is July 14, 2010
Ref 22
Broken link
Ref 23, 24
Hung Medien is the publisher

External links

Discogs is usually a bad website to reference. Possibly take it off?
