Two crashes edit

It seems that there were two crashes of Aerograviota An-26s. One a civil flight and one a military flight, in adjoining provinces. This article could be expanded to cover both, once more details are known. Mjroots (talk) 21:43, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Now clear that is was a military fight. Artemisa Province was created from Pinar del Rio Province, which is where the confusion arose. Mjroots (talk) 05:30, 30 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

2017 Aerogaviota Antonov An-26 crashAerogaviota Flight 1436 – The flight number is given. Standard procedure to do to comply with: [1] Username006 (talk) 09:53, 19 August 2021 (UTC) — Relisting. Bada Kaji (talk • श्रीमान् गम्भीर) 12:08, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • Oppose – The only source giving the flight number is the ASN [2], which doesn't quote any source containing that detail and is known sometimes for making up flight numbers from call signs or tail numbers. Until better sources are available (e.g. the official accident report), it's more prudent to keep the current title. --Deeday-UK (talk) 09:46, 29 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
  • Oppose. The WikiProject page cited as standard procedure has no standing as a naming convention, so there is no valid rationale for this proposed move. Andrewa (talk) 15:35, 2 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

@Deeday-UK: @Andrewa: But baaa-acro doesmention it as FAR1436 and so does the accidents and incidents page of the Antonov AN-26. Andrewa, please ask Deeday-UK himself that it is a naming convention. Username006 (talk) 05:51, 4 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
