The article currently has the death toll ranging from 17 up to 24. How many people were actually killed? I think the lede's figure of 22 is the closest to accurate (18 on the mountain, 1 from injuries in hospital, 3 trying to fix the route through the icefall). Why is the title plural?
Only 1 avalanche is reported in the sources on Mt Everest itself, From Pumori into the basecamp on Mt everest.
Other avalanches are reported on other nearby mountains in the sources.
There may have been other avalanches on Mt Everest, but there are no reports of the avalances.

If you mean NatGeo relaying this Facebook post, is a Facebook post considered a reliable source?
Are there any other sources videos etc, verifying the statement in the post?
“Sadly, three more Sherpas died in the Icefall, trying to repair the damaged route,” mountaineer Elia Saikaly wrote on Facebook. “There was a subsequent avalanche that took out most of the ladders in the Icefall.”

That number includes three Sherpa who perished in the Khumbu Icefall after the initial earthquake. An aftershock caused at least three more avalanches on Sunday. Those Sherpa were part of a government team who fix the route between base camp and Camp I, where 60 climbers had been trapped by the first earthquake. http://www.macleans.ca/news/world/eyewitness-to-disaster-on-the-top-of-the-world/ Note that these events would be distinct from the initial one that came off of the saddle between Pumori and Lingtren, which are West of the Icefall. 66.96.79.214 (talk) 22:46, 20 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

.. is somewhat odd at the moment. It's not alphabetical by first or last name. Instead, there's 'the most famous to Americans' one, a Google exec first. The next two are also American, then there's a list of Nepalese people, then another American.. who is also listed as Vietnamese, then two more. The presumably unintended implications are that Americans are the most important people to die.. but an American with Vietnamese heritage isn't quite the same thing.
