Women's Grand Prix edit

- Congrats on confusing it with the slims tour, which is nothing to do with this in 1970, 1971, 1972 and 73. It was only when the Slims 73/74 series started that they were one. KnowIG (talk) 17:30, 14 March 2011 (UTC)

Sorry, MakeSense...this is the trap that the ATP provide for anyone wanting to find out about the "1970 Grand Prix". The tournaments that you added were not part of the Grand Prix; they should be written about on the 1970 in tennis page. This was checked against World of Tennis 1971. - No problem, I can understand. It's good to get some movement in these 70s and 80s tour articles , which have been empty for long time.
- You are the one with access to the best source for this purpose, so what would help is if you could post on the Talk for 1971, 1972 ... the list with tournaments that we need to include. I think the draw pages on ATP site are OK, but we need to know which tournaments belonged to Grand prix, and what in category. I have started to set up monthly tables in 1971 and 1972 articles, but we need list of tournaments to include. From 1973 I see that a different "Key" was used with AA and A category tournaments. Probably other years have even different categories. You can solve this puzzle from your World of Tennis books. Once we have that info on the respective Talk pages, then we can start building the articles. This are High importance articles for project tennis. MakeSense64 (talk) 16:40, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
