I like the environment as much as anyone, but how did we slip from "endangered species" to "critically endangered subspecies?" Just seems like more syllables to over-hype the issue. 69.255.0.91 12:27, 8 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's in line with the IUCN Red List risk ratings. It's a more specific way to classify species which are especially close to extinction. --YFB ¿ 12:31, 8 April 2007 (UTC)Reply
