@Bookku: Thanks for starting this draft; it's an interesting topic! I think it could probably stand on its own, given we have an equivalent page for 9/11 and I was able to find sources. For helping people discover it, though, it might be good to integrate it with (or even transclude it to) some of the other pages we have about the cultural impact of the pandemic. Most of those pages are currently about just which venues have closed (and most are in pretty bad shape), but I hope they'll eventually take a broader view about the way the pandemic has influenced the cultural landscape, including with humor. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 20:24, 13 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

I mostly agree with Sdkb - even just trying to keep the impact on film article from becoming a list of movie theater closures and rescheduled films proved almost impossible. It started out as an overview of the area, especially market trends and economics, and we have now managed to siphon off films and franchises to list articles, but they're all in pretty bad shape. Your draft is already more like a very brief list of examples of jokes about the pandemic, a more scholarly overview is needed for an article. Kingsif (talk) 05:17, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Title

Would Humor about the COVID-19 pandemic be a better title? The current title suggests a somewhat strange scope – potentially including humor not about the pandemic, but excluding future humor about the pandemic after it ends. —Mx. Granger (talk · contribs) 18:11, 19 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Fair point. {{u|Sdkb}}talk 09:33, 20 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
