Universal Basic Guys is an upcoming American adult animated sitcom created by Adam and Craig Malamut that is set to premiere on September 8, 2024 on the Animation Domination block on Fox.[1]
Premise
editThe series follows a pair of brothers named Mark and Hank Hoagies, who find themselves losing their jobs when the Glantontown Hot Dog factory took over to automation.
Production
editIn November 2022, it was announced that Game of Zones creators Adam and Craig Malamut were set up on an animated series on Fox, called Universal Basic Guys/The Hoagie Bros.. The series will be produced by Leith Hill Productions, Fox Entertainment and Sony Pictures Television, with Bento Box Entertainment providing the animation.[2] In May 2024, the series was retitled to Universal Basic Guys and renewed for a second season ahead of its debut in the fall.[3]
Release
editThe series is set to premiere on September 8, 2024 on the Animation Domination block on Fox, and will be available on Hulu after it will air. It will also air on Citytv in Canada.[3][1]
Marketing
editA teaser for the series was released in May 2024.[3]
