Anthony Abraham (born 15 January 1979) is a Nigerian multimedia personality, Television Star, Outstanding Host, Public Speaking Coach and Entrepreneur. Anthony has over 10 years of professional media experience with Silverbird Group where he helped to build talent discovery platforms for young up-and-coming entertainers, and create, manage and produce world-class live and online content. He is a major driving force behind prestigious beauty pageants including The Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN)[1]
Early life and education edit
Anthony Abraham was born on 15 January 1979, in Lagos, Nigeria. His father is Kamal Osi Lawal from Ogun state while his mother, Anastasia is from Edo State, both in Nigeria.
Anthony had his nursery and primary education at the popular Fountain School in Lagos.
He also attended the prestigious Christ College, Blackheath in London, while he lived with his family in the UK for a few years. Anthony later attended the famous Kings College Lagos in 1997.
In 2009, he was awarded a certificate of participation in Communicating Ideas Through TV, by the Pan African University.
In 2012, he graduated with a BSc degree in computer science from Lagos state university. He studied broadcast journalism and earned a diploma from the New York Film Academy (Del york).[2] [1]

In 2008, Anthony joined the renowned Silverbird Television where he has been working till date. Some of his contributions to the growth of the station include: Hosting and producing of E/Weekly on STV, hosting of other tv shows, Media Research, Packaging of the Shows, Scripting, Voice Over, and Production Management.
Anthony has conducted insightful interviews with A-list celebrities from across the entertainment industry within and outside Nigeria.[3][4] The list includes: R Kelly, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Nelly, Ludacris, Sean Paul, The Game, Wyclef, Rick Ross, and T-Pain. He has also interviewed other celebrities like: David Oyelowo, Sean Kingston, Idris Elba, Jidenna and many others.
The Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) edit
In 2009, Anthony joined the team that organizes the popular pageant The Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) where he overtime rose to become a driving force for the pageant, thereby providing a platform for young women to showcase their talent, intelligence, and poise on a global stage.[5]

He has also groomed and mentored a lot of beauty queens both locally and at Miss World, Miss Universe, MBGN Ecowas, MBGN Tourism, Mr. World Nigeria, Mr. World, and Supranational in Poland, while also interviewing several beauty queens including Agbani Darego, Miss World 2001 and Leila Lopes Miss Universe 2012.[6]
Red Carpet and Event Production edit
When it comes red carpet hosting, Anthony is a pro. Some of the numerous red carpet sessions he has hosted include: James Bond Movie premiere, John Wick Movie premiere, Man Of Steel Movie Premiere, No Time To Die Movie Premiere and lots of others.
In addition to being a phenomenal red carpet host, Anthony has made his mark in producing and packaging events such as Tu face Live in concert; Unusual Praise Gospel Concert (2016–2017); Royal Caribbean Cruise France, Italy, and Spain; Face of Sylvia's Hair pageant (2012), Folorunso Alakija's birthday and 40th wedding Anniversary Celebration, among several others.[7] One of the defining moments in Abraham's career came in 2010 when he was selected as one of the high-profile personalities to host the inauguration ceremony of Nigeria's 14th President, Goodluck Jonathan.[8]
Entrepreneurship edit
Anthony Abraham is the founder of a tech-driven media and entertainment company TONYINTA NETWORK. The company was born out of his love for quality and world-class service curated by the most skilled minds in the media and content creation industry.[9] The company is also the organizer of the prestigious Miss Chic Global, a pageant and fashion annual festival.
The company has successfully executed notable projects which include: corporate video Miele, Corporate video Mallinson Tiles, Baobab Microfinance bank rebranding event activation, Media activations Sky Cinema, and Media Activation movie releases.[10]
A training unit under Tonyinta Network also caters to young adults who desire to climb the ladder of growth, especially in the creative industry. Tonyinta Academy has hosted several free mentorship events for youths.[11] These events were graced by public figures and celebrities. Over the years the project has mentored and connected aspiring media & entertainment creatives to organizations and industry captains.
