Jewish scientists is not a nationality. It is an ethnicity. You do not have Enrico Fermi listed as an Italian scientist, presumably because he is Italian-American. So why do you have a category that includes Jewish-American scientists? You need a new category called scientists by ethnicity, which would include Jewish scientists and also merge other categories together (e.g., German and German-American scientists into one category).

I agree, jewish is not a nationality and it should be removed from "Scientists by nationality". But in case someone insists on keeping this category, she should add a "non-jew" or "gentile" or "goy" scientists category as well (although it seems pretty discriminative divide people into jews and non-jews). There is no "Scientists by religion" category, where scientists may be presented as christians, muslims, jewishs, rastafaris, etc. Maybe this category is more suitable for the "jewish scientists" category. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.50.39.216 (talk) 04:09, 16 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
