Burials vs. Buried

I've added George Peabody to this category, though with some hesitation. He's qualified under the title of this category, because he was, in fact, buried at Westminster Abbey, at the request of the Dean of Westminster and with the approval of the Queen. But it was a temporary burial, because his will stipulated that he be buried in his home town of Danvers, Massachusetts, USA. So he was buried at Westminster Abbey, but he isn't currently buried at Westminster Abbey. Perhaps this is a distinction that applies only to George Peabody, but it's worth calling up.--WaldoJ (talk) 21:07, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

That dubious distinction also applies, perhaps more notably, to Oliver Cromwell and his fellow Parliamentarians Robert Blake (admiral) and John Pym. Cromwell’s favourite daughter, Elizabeth Claypole, who pre-deceased him by only a month, was also buried in the Abbey and remains there, as far as we know. Is this list to be kept exclusively for those individuals with Wikipedia articles? Martinevans123 (talk) 16:31, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Except, um, the article on Oliver Cromwell states:

"In 1661, Oliver Cromwell's body was exhumed from Westminster Abbey, and was subjected to the ritual of a posthumous execution, as were the remains of John Bradshaw and Henry Ireton." Any more candidates? Am a littlle confused. Martinevans123 (talk) 17:13, 17 August 2008 (UTC)
