editHorsens and AaB finished the 2022–23 season of the Superliga in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 1st Division.[1][2] They replaced Vejle BK and Hvidovre IF, who were promoted to the 2023–24 Danish Superliga.[3][4]
Kolding IF and B.93 won promotion from the 2022–23 Danish 2nd Division.[5][6] They replaced Fremad Amager and Nykøbing FC.[7][8]
