- Template:2015 College Football Playoff National Championship (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- Template:2016 College Football Playoff National Championship (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- Template:2017 College Football Playoff National Championship (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- Template:2018 College Football Playoff National Championship (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
These four templates have been designed to each be a single-use template to group navboxes in the footers of 2015 College Football Playoff National Championship, 2016 College Football Playoff National Championship, 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship, and 2018 College Football Playoff National Championship, respectively. As single-use templates, by design, there's no reason for theses template to exist, as their code could merely be placed on the target articles instead. Furthermore, the style rendered by these templates is non-standard and should be discussed before implementing. Jweiss11 (talk) 18:50, 16 December 2017 (UTC)

There's no such thing as the Australian national cricket team squad and any such template would be WP:OR. TripleRoryFan (talk) 11:22, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
- Adding five similar templates I found:
- Template:New Zealand cricket team current squad (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- Template:India national cricket team current squad (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- Template:South Africa cricket team squad (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- Template:Bangladesh national cricket team squad (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- Template:West Indies cricket team (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages) Störm (talk) 15:39, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
- delete - clearly not worth keeping per WP:OR and per recent discussion. Störm (talk) 15:45, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete While players have contracts to represent their national side, the squad rotates on a match-by-match basis, and isn't best suited to being displayed via a template. Lugnuts Fire Walk with Me 18:49, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete. I hope this template may be relevant and could have created due to the pay dispute between the Australian Cricket Board and the Australian cricketers. This template won't be useful for long term situations as the contracts, team players are tend to change. Abishe (talk) 19:06, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete What I said in the discussion. WP:OR, constantly changing and meaningless. Galobtter (pingó mió) 17:30, 17 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete unsuited to a template. Cricket squads are different for every format of the game and selections and delesections happen often, too often to keep these up to date. Ajf773 (talk) 17:41, 20 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete all the squad list is just a collection of players who play 1 or more formats. National teams don't have squad lists except for ICC tournaments. Joseph2302 (talk) 19:15, 20 December 2017 (UTC)

The result of the discussion was do not merge, but delete the Historical information needed template. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 00:13, 28 December 2017 (UTC)
- Template:Historical information needed (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
- Template:Recentism (talk · history · transclusions · logs · subpages)
Propose merging Template:Historical information needed with Template:Recentism.
I don't see a difference between this and the more popular {{Recentism}}. Let's just merge them. — Mr. Guye (talk) (contribs) 03:31, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete, not merge. I've been looking at some of the uses of this template and in many cases, e.g. Camp Crane, Dream sequence, Naparima Girls' High School and Illinois's 18th congressional district, {{Recentism}} wouldn't really be suitable. There's an article that has had {{Historical information needed}} on it since November 2009, for instance -- certainly not a case of recentism as we define it on Wikipedia. {{Expand section}}, {{Missing information}} or {{Incomplete}} would probably be better, depending on where each article is at. Warren -talk- 03:38, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete per Warren, {{Missing information}} would be a suitable replacement for most usage cases.--eh bien mon prince (talk) 03:23, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
- Delete as highly redundant. As Warren says, this may need case-by-case removal in order to be super accurate. TheDragonFire (talk) 10:33, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
- Redirect to Template:Recentism due to transclusions, so thus a helpful title. Do not merge per those advocating "delete". Steel1943 (talk) 19:52, 26 December 2017 (UTC)

A flat list of brands in the form of a template. All individuals are nn. The template comes across as possibly promotional, as the only purpose appears cross-linking all of the investments by Bertelsmann#Bertelsmann_Investments, which strikes me as not suitable for a template. The companies are not related apart from having received an investment from the same source. K.e.coffman (talk) 03:09, 16 December 2017 (UTC)
