Claude Bernard (watch manufacturer)

The company in question actually exists, and bears interest to wristwatch aficionados worldwide. The fact that they are a smaller company does not shadow the fact that they have been featured in the media in southern Europe and are discussed online on forums, as well as their products being available for purchase in physical stores as well as several marketplaces and electronic boutiques online. Furthermore, I would appreciate a more clear definition of "peacock facts". From what was gathered, everything stated in the article was true, objective and factual. The WIN Awards and its parent company a charity, WOMEN'S IMAGE NETWORK is a verified existing company with dozens of external sites posting news and details. The win awards DOT com website UNDER NEWS section lists these external links which include THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, THE HUFFINGTON POST and SHINE, among others. Can you please UNDELETE this page?

This has been discussed several times in recent years and deemed not to meet wikipedia's criteria. As pointed out above the proposed article was promotional and extremely unencylopedic in tone and content. I can see no reason to reverse the decision of several administrators. Furthermore until such time as the awards are recognised as significant and notable any mention of the WIN awards should surely be deleted from all articles it currently appears on. 21st CENTURY GREENSTUFF 20:45, 28 September 2012 (UTC)

There was a page on Operation Blue Tulsi on Wikipedia which has been removed twice. This was a highly informative article but I do not know why it was removed twice??? Has Wikipedia become part of the conspiracy to destroy world peace? Or was it under some super power's pressure? Please restore the article ASAP as it is bringing bad name to Wikipedia's neutrality, truthfulness and impartiality. Thanks Asim

  Not done I found one at Operation blue tulsi and, assuming the other was similar, it was a copy of [1] and went against several wikipedia principles including not publishing original research and not lifting content form elsewhere. Women's Image Network

This page is information about a charity serving the world. One editor decided this page was promoting this charity only. This makes NO sense. Does a page about the OSCAR awards promote the OSCARS only? I kindly request our page WOMEN'S IMAGE NETWORK be REIINSTATED. Everbody in the entertainment industry including NICOLE KIDMAN, COURTENEY COX and LAUREN BACALL have references about Women's Image Network and THE WIN AWARDS show which this charity has produced since 1993. This is a 501c3 non profit charity that has worked since 1993 to level the playing field. Maybe Fetchcomm is anti women? This women's image network WIN Awards is cited all over WIKI by others. Liana Werner-Gray page deletion

Hello, I am writing in regards to the deletion of the Liana Werner-Gray(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liana_Werner-Gray) Wikipedia page. I went to visit the page last week and noticed this message "concern was: spam lacking a solid claim to notability. awards shown are not major. packed with deceptive and misleading sourcing, verging on a hoax article. full of sources that verify associated aspects but not anything to do..." I'm not sure what led to this conclusion, but I assure you, the information shown on the page is 100% legitimate, and I am requesting that it be undeleted. The awards listed, while not major according to the opinion of the deleter, are real awards so there was nothing deceptive about mentioning them. I have contacted the administrator who is stated on the deleted page, and apparently it was not his conclusion, and the quoted was a statement that another editor added. So that is what led me here. I must respectfully say that I disagree with this deletion and will back up my opinion with proof if need be. Thank you. Hello, I was looking for this article and saw this is had been deleted. If you would reinstate it the Ripple community can continue to improve it :)

'Ripple' is an important projects that develops better monetary systems protocols, it´s an open-source software project for developing and implementing a protocol for an open decentralized payment network. It is discussed by senior researcher David Hales, Department of Computer Science, University of Bologna, in this video (from 3:21), and described in detail on these domains  : http://ripplepay.com and http://ripple-project.org/ ; both verifiable third party source

Those three sources above are all verifiable third party sources according to WP:N, Ripple is a topic "worthy of notice" :)

If you can reinstate the article, we can get on with adding better references, Ripple actually has potential to change our economic systems for the better, you should check it out!

i dont understand why it was deleted. the page is about a factual fratenal organization that exists in New York City Emergency Medical Services. It has existed for 37 years. All information was being added according to Wiki requirerments & editing was on going since the page was only created aproximatly 3pm EST. And was deleted less then 5 hours later. Your claim of ""A7" for articles that do not satisfy notability,", doesnt make sense since editing was going on & i was & a few others were in the process of adding citations, reference notes, bookmarks & footnotes. -Archie nieman 00:52, 2 October 2012 (UTC)

While I appreciate their (and your) dedication, the group seems indeed not to meet our inclusion guideline for organizations, not to mention a style far away from an encyclopedic article. Ideate 3.0

The page talks about the annual competition organised by the PMI Working Student Chapter at NMIMS MPSTME. It is not any sort of publicity. Rather the address is given only to people who register for it. So, that they can acquaint themselves with the schedule,format,history of Ideate. Just like any competitive exam like iit jee, Ideate is the ultimate quiz when it comes to Project Management. David López Ribes

Article deleted as CSD A2, possibly existing on the Spanish Wikipedia, but the article's creator created my user page with a comment (which is also in Spanish) saying that he needs help to improve the article so that it is not deleted. This comment is now moved to the talk page. This article should be undeleted so that the author, and anyone else willing to help, may improve the article which may also include translating it into English.   Not done Having it as such in article space is actually a situation that we're trying to avoid. WP:PNT is for stuff that we have (only) here, so it needs to be translated in place. There is no such need for articles that exist at a sister wiki (Es:David lopez) which are dealt with at Wikipedia:Translation, not to mention that the author has a copy. If you want to to help and advise him, you could restore it to your user space from the spanish wiki, but I'd start with a well sourced stub if you see the potential. --Tikiwont (talk) 20:34, 3 October 2012 (UTC)

Christian Storm

Hi there, my page on Christian Storm, a UK choreographer has been deleted. I had discussions with a moderator who gave me some advice on how to make it better. I added in a good amount of secondary sources (online articles etc) to back up work that he had been involved in and it was still deleted. There are a number of other choreographers on wikipedia and I emulated the style of their pages quite closely to ensure that the article would get through. Seems it has not and this seems a little unfair/confusing as the issues levelled against my articles could apply to any choreographers on wikipedia. This person is of note, is a minor celebrity here in the UK (married to a pop star, went out with one of the Spice Girls, and has been professionally involved with some of the world's best known acts. All of this is mentioned, and referenced.

I did have a discussion with a moderator and worked very hard to improve the article, and it was still deleted. If possible, I would like to get the content back so perhaps I can improve on it further. I spent hours on it and (by my own fault) did not back up the latest version. If I could get the content back, I would be very grateful and I can discuss further with you guys on how to get it to stay.

Trypophobia

This article was deleted a few years ago under the false assumption that it was a hoax or fabrication. Wikipedia is very cautious about neologisms - see WP:NEO - and people keep trying to post silly made-up phobias like Arachibutyrophobia (a morbid fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of one's mouth, in case you wondered). You have done just the right thing to make a draft, and it looks as if you may have a case, but the title has been salted because of many previous attempts, so talk to the salting admin, user Orangemike (talk), who is definitely not retired, and if he does not agree go to WP:Deletion review. The Earth Diet

Greeting, I am writing in regards to the deletion of The Earth Diet page. I have already contacted the person who deleted the page (11:48, 7 August 2012 Jenks24) and they directed me here. I had recently made an appeal for the undeletion of a related page (Liana Werner-Gray) which you accepted. My argument to Jenks24 was that The Earth Diet is a legitimate company and that none of the information listed on the page is false. According to Jenks24, the company's legitimacy was not the issue and rather it was an issue of a lack of notability. My argument was that who is to determine the notability of any company and at what level does notability warrant having a wikipedia page? Furthermore, isn't it a bit ridiculous for a page about an an existing company to be deleted merely because certain people don't deem it notable? I know there is a process by which pages are deemed unworthy of a wikipedia page, but there are scores of other dieting companies similar to The Earth Diet that have existing wikipedia pages like South Beach Diet or The 100 Mile Diet, so why is this one singled out? To be honest, it seems a little fishy that both Liana Werner-Gray and The Earth Diet were deleted so hastily around the same time. It seems to me personal opinions may have taken importance over facts. Jenks24 told me to come prepared with evidence to back up my request and I will gladly supply whatever is needed to get the page undeleted. Thank you for taking the time to read this. We have very specific sets of standards for notability, both for biographies and for companies. On a planet of seven billion people and rising, many people and many companies are not notable. There's nothing "fishy" about that; whereas your eagerness to publicize this obscure person and her obscure company seems a little fishy to us here (although we do try to assume you are working in good faith. --Orange Mike | Talk 18:25, 2 October 2012 (UTC)
You say "obscure", but the fact of the matter is The Earth Diet is being used by many people around the world and is continuing to grow. I am among these people and it's not even an exaggeration to say it changed and ultimately saved my life. It promotes eating only the foods the earth provides naturally and using natural remedies to cure disease. By keeping this wikipedia page off the internet, you are preventing a good source of information from being shared, and in turn preventing the world from becoming a better place. The entry was a valid entry detailing a hospital radio station based in Livingston, West Lothian. As it is a charitable organisation and a very local one at that, there are very few online 3rd-party sources. The file was deleted for Wikipedia:CSD#F7 for violating Wikipedia:NFCC#1 which makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. The file was a low-resolution screenshot of a YouTube video used in one article (linked above), and was used in a perfectly viable context where it contributed to the article. As Wikipedia:NFCC#1 states, "Can this non-free content be replaced by a free version that has the same effect?" The answer is simply, no. Any other low-resolution screenshot would also be non-free content. Dari Java Framework

The page was deleted for apparently being unimportant. The product (Dari Framework) is a technical software framework that was released as open source on 27th Sept. It is an important release, as the framework has been used internally for 3 years to power some of the top websites on the web. The company behind the framework, Perfect Sense Digital (www.perfectsensedigital.com), decided to release the framework for free, under the BSD license and did so by exhibiting it at the annual JavaOne Oracle conference in San Francisco last week. Other notable frameworks have been created out of Kohana like FuelPHP shown here: FuelPHP Cookie.php. It's one of the bigger and actively developed frameworks around. I think this framework does deserve to be in the listing. Even Rasmus Lerdorf has been using Kohana and he is the Father of PHP: PHP internals and Kohana Dev Page and Rasmus Personal Blog . I was looking at Cory Doctorow's page, and noticed that he wrote 7 science fiction books, all of which have their own pages - except for Pirate Cinema, whose page was apparently deleted, but couldn't identify the method it was deleted; these things seem to be unclear. It seems a bit illogical that only this page was missing. If it was a poorly written article, then the person who deleted it instead of rewriting it made a bad choice; criticizing instead of improving doesn't help much. I think the article about Pirate Cinema should be restored.
