The article had participation and comments on whether to be deleted or not. There was not a consensus to delete. Although considered marginal whether the article meets WP:Creative and WP: Bare there were two deletes and two keeps and a strong interest in contributing to the article to improve it. Biographee has produced and directed award winning television PSAs and theatrically released films, received national commendations from FBI director Robert Mueller, and won an Emmy Award, the msot coveted award in his field. He is referenced in other Wikipedia articles, and as a tenured film professor viewed as an expert in his field having been quoted various times in major newspaer articles and journals. Biographee, upon my research, is also a member of the Board of Directors for LA36 television station and President of the California Faculty Association- the collective bargaining unit for California State University faculty. Speedy deletion of articles like this one challenges the integrity of Wikipedia. -Prease (talk) 16:39, 18 July 2014 (UTC)

The page was deleted citing no evidence for notability. However, such evidence exists and I request that the page be restored so that sources establishing notability can be added.   Not done - this article has not been restored because it does not appear to meet our guidelines for inclusion of articles about companies. In general, Wikipedia considers a topic to be notable if there exist multiple reliable sources of information on the topic, external to the subject itself. Articles concerning companies will be deleted on sight if they are considered to be unambiguous advertising or promotion, or if they do not contain a credible assertion of the significance of the subject. Also this had a promotional tone. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 23:07, 18 July 2014 (UTC)

There is a portal block for social media & this is the only red link on said box. A stub or poorly cited article makes a better placeholder than a complete blank. -23.116.49.179 (talk) 06:50, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

  • Comment: Hmm... from looking at the deleted version, part of the big rationale for its deletion was that it was written with an WP:OR tone. I can kind of see where they're coming from. I don't mind restoring it, but it will need to be improved or it will likely inevitably be deleted again. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:13, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
  • I'm looking for sources to see if there's anything I can throw up there, but I'm not finding a lot to show that this term is very frequently used. There are a few hits, but mostly in self-published sources and it's almost exclusively mentioned in relation to ancient Egypt in specific. I'm just concerned that if restored, it'll just be a brief reprieve before deletion. Being mentioned in the portal doesn't always mean that something should be listed there- sometimes it just means that someone added it and it needs to be removed. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:17, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
  • It could also be seen as a content fork of hierarchy or social class in many ways, although this article mentions intimacy. I'm just more than a little concerned that none of the sourcing I'm finding really uses this term in this specific manner and that deletion of some sort would be inevitable. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 08:21, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
  • Basically all I really want is some reassurance that you will try to work on the article (or get someone else to work on it) after I restore it and that there is some sort of RS out there. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 09:57, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

Albasco.com

Hi, I had added an article about Albasco.com company, an Iranian online shop. Unfortunately this article is deleted. I request for an opportunity to edit the content of that article and remove the mistakes including too many links to the company's itself that makes these misunderstandings that is an advertising or copyright infringement. I will deeply grateful if it is possible to undelete Albasco.com content. -Barish.oxtay (talk) 08:37, 20 July 2014 (UTC)

Barish.oxtay (talk) 08:37, 20 July 2014 (UTC)Barish.oxtay

  • The article was deleted at AfD in 2010, so it has that going against it as well. I'm also concerned that the article was written in a fairly promotional manner. Sentences such as " Albasco.com is trying to introduce online shopping to Iranian people as an easy and reliable tool to purchase a variety of goods with appropriate and reasonable costs and prices" comes across as an advertisement. What I recommend is that you try creating a new version of the article at WP:AfC, our articles for creation page. It won't be in our mainspace, but you would be able to work on creating a new version of the article and you'd have more time to work on it as well. We usually only speedy AfC articles if they are abandoned (6+ months without edits to the page) or violate our guidelines so severely that it cannot remain in the article space, which is usually pretty rare. (The types that do this are usually very extreme promotional articles, threats, copyright violations, and so on.) Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 10:02, 20 July 2014 (UTC)
  • On a side note, coverage does not have to be in English. Even if it is in say, a foreign language newspaper, that would still count towards notability. A good place to start for looking for sources would be Wikipedia:WikiProject Iran. Since most of the coverage would be in a foreign language, it would be best if you were to have someone who speaks/reads the language look over the sources and help show you the best places to look for coverage. You could get help at WP:RS/N, a noticeboard for reliable sources, but I have a feeling that you would inevitably be steered towards the Iran wikiproject because of the language barrier. Bodybagstyle Productions

The article wasn't completed yet, I saved the article so I wouldn't lose its content. It was deleted because of notable significance. Bodybagstle Productions is using technology infused in their music to create a binaural audio effect. More research is being done, but the page was deleted before it was complete. If there is any way I can keep that page while it is being edited, I can prove why it is notable. — Preceding unsigned comment added by D420world (talkcontribs)

Note: The page was speedily-deleted under criterion A7. Pages deleted under that criterion are generally not undeleted because they require complete rewrites to be viable encyclopedia articles or because they violate our biographical or fair-use policies. That said, admins could probably move it into a userspace draft for you. —Jeremy v^_^v Bori! 04:12, 22 July 2014 (UTC)

Dawley Court, Middlesex in 1929.jpg

I made a digital photograph copy of the 1929 image and gave it to Wikipedia. The house belonged to my great-grandfather. My father was the only son of his eldest surviving son. [Rodolph de Salis] (appointed representative of what was the Dawley estate/exors. of Cecil Fane de Salis, etc.)] [07 July 2014]

  •   Not done the photographer is still unknown, also since Wikipedia is the first publication, a suitable license will have to be granted. You could do it CC-0 or attempt to release all rights in the US (public domain) but as per the deletion discussion it does not qualify by itself to be public domain. it was published, public published, made public, in 1929, so Wikipedia is not the first publication.Rodolph2 (talk) 00:22, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
anonymous, unknown, enough years have passed for an unknown work to become public. Anyway there is a high chance that it was taken, made, published, by my great-grandparents, ergo rights, estate photo rights, passed dwon and released.00:26, 22 July 2014 (UTC)

Heiko Bleher

Enter your reasoning here and then click the "Save page" button below -93.147.180.185 (talk) 08:17, 22 July 2014 (UTC) Dear Sirs,

I always supported, respected and used Wikipedia to inform our many contributors to your site, also on our www.aquapress-bleher.com and www.aqua-aquapress.com websites, but I just came aware that some one, for no reason I can see – WHATSOEVER – has deleted my profile page HEIKO BLEHER (there is only one in the world with this name) completely.

You state that there it has been deleted because of a copyright infringement, which is impossible, as there is none. This texts were inserted by someone who knows my life and what I have done 100% and I never saw any infringement whatsoever. Everything stated was 100% correct and in no case any violation to any copyright. You can also see this on the websites above mentioned and elsewhere on the www (ir Goggle).

I expect a immediate answer how such a thing could happen. I can only imagine, that some jealous people (jealous of my life-time work) have eliminated it, as there is nothing of an copyright infringement on my site.

Thank you in advance and see foreword to you soon answer and re-in-statement of that page,

Sincerely Heiko Bleher President of Aquapress Publishers Italy

File:Black_Heart,_photo_from_CoS,_Sep_2013.jpg

I, Skylar3214, request undeletion for the file I uploaded for Black Heart (Stone Temple Pilots song) of the Articles for Creation submission deleted under CSD G13. Please note that I uploaded a file for "Black Heart" by Stone Temple Pilots, and it also came from a source that was posted on the CoS website by Michael Roffman. I've worked on the article just until at 23:41, 21 July 2014. Skylar3214 7:29, 21 July 2014

This page has not yet been deleted. Please visit the page to find out how to object to the deletion request. The file is nominated for deletion and is an issue for multiple reasons. 1) The CD cover's copyright has not been released by its owner into the public domain. If it has been release, (which would be one of the first times in the music industry) we have no evidence. 2) The file could be kept as fair-use, but it has no fair-use rationale nor the appropriate copyright tag. And the file would need to be reduced in resolution. To be kept, these things will have to be done to the file. (Basically, the file description page should look like File:Out of Time, photo from Google Play, July 2014.jpg, the file you uploaded just before. Cheers, TLSuda (talk) 02:34, 22 July 2014 (UTC)
Now I saw where you were at with this. I've done the same thing, like I did for the last one I uploaded for Out of Time (Stone Temple Pilots song). Skylar3214 9:37, 21 July 2014

Not done The reason (no importance asserted) was valid, although of course the subject might meet the notability guidelines. That said, the deletion was in 2006 and the article was completely unsourced, so either way it would qualify for a deletion as an unsourced biography. I'd recommend just recreating it, again if they meet the notability guidelines. If you are associated with the subject in any way this is required reading as well. §FreeRangeFrogcroak 21:57, 22 July 2014 (UTC)

NiCE IT Management Solutions

Enter your reasoning here Hi I would like to contest the deletion of the NiCE IT Management Solutions page because Wikipedia already has many company profiles and this company profile is no different. It was written in the same way that the Coca-Cola or Accenture pages were written for example, where they talk about the history of the company and the products/services that it offers. The NiCE IT Management Solutions page is no different. It's just a smaller company but the content therein is similar. Why not delete the Coca-Cola and Accenture pages too then? -Nonthando (talk) 09:09, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

  •   Not done I was going to leave the standard response regarding non-notable businesses, but your wording shows that you have some fundamental misunderstandings. First, there is no such thing as a "company profile" on Wikipedia - we have encyclopedia articles about notable topics. Wikipedia is not a business directory, it is instead an encyclopedia that includes only notable businesses. Surely you're not compating NiCE IT to Coca-Cola or Accenture in terms of notability? There are billions of businesses in the world, but less than 1% of them will ever meet the notability requirements, and that's intentional. the panda ₯’ 09:20, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

Orthotropics®

Dear admins, I am writing regarding the undeletion of our wikipedia page about Orthotropics®. Orthotropics® is a treatment developed over 40 years ago by Prof. John Mew. (http://orthotropics.org/Education_and_Events/indexf.php?ACT=History_of_Orthotropics_Education )This treatment basically aims to correct the facial development and teeth alignment together with improving the facial growth (http://www.facefocused.com/bioorthotrop.html) This treatment prevents unnecessary dental extraction and major surgeries (http://www.lsfo.co.uk/orthotropics) There are three Orthotropics organizations including International Association - http://www.orthotropics.com,North American Association - http://www.orthotropics-na.org and Asian association- http://www.orthotropicsasia.com and over 100 Orthotropics Practitioners worldwide http://www.orthotropics.org/Discover_Orthotropics/find-an-orthotropist & http://www.orthotropics-na.org/public/NAAFO_Find_A_Member_Map.cfm , There are also a number of published articles in the peer reviewed Dental and Orthodontic journals about Orthotropics treatment including: 1. Mew JRC. 1999. A New form of Orthodontic Treatment Tested on Identical Twins. European Journal of Orthodontics. 21: 605. 2. Mew, J.R.C. “Facial form, head posture, and the protection of the pharyngeal space” The clinical alteration of the growing face. J.A.Macnamara, K.Ribbens, R.P.Howe. Eds. Monograph 14. Crainiofacial Growth Series. Center of Human Growth and Development. Ann Arbor. Michigan. 1983. (see also papers published by John Mew)

3. Mew, J.R.C. “Suggestions for forecasting and monitoring facial growth” American Journal of Orthodontics and Dento-facial Orthopedics. 104: 105-120. 1993Faces 1993. (see also papers published by John Mew)

4. Mew J R C. 2004. The Postural Basis of Malocclusion: A philosophical Overview. American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. In press July or August. Finally I would like to request undeletion of this page as a it is a helpful reference for parents and practitioners considering an alternative non-extraction treatment.

Kind regards, Kian Morteza Fazeli Niaki, DMD, MClin Pros - Academic director of London School of Facial Orthotropics -86.149.175.233 (talk) 09:07, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

Not done. First, let me make clear that, although originally written by Prof Mew, this was not your article, it was Wikipedia's article. Wikipedia is not a "notice-board" site like Facebook for people to tell the world about their own concerns or inventions, and is extremely resistant to being used for any kind of promotion. As you are concerned with "Orthrotropics", you should read the Wikipedia:Plain and simple conflict of interest guide.
The article was the subject of a deletion discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Orthotropics®, although that was cut short when it was speedily deleted as an advertisement. If you disagree, you should first apprach the deleting administrator, user Orangemike (talk); then, if your concerns are not addressed, you can make a request at WP:Deletion review.
Most, if not all, of the references you cite seem to be by Prof Mew, or from sources connected with the Orthotropics movement. Wikipedia's inclusion criterion, known as WP:Notability, looks for evidence of "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." JohnCD (talk) 17:25, 23 July 2014 (UTC)

The page was created by the company Haden Freeman and was not meant to be an advertisement. The text was copied from the website to ensure everything followed the house style. •   Not done There are two issues: number one, this is an encyclopedia, not a business directory - the company you wrote about does not meet the strict notability requirements for an article. Second, copy/paste from a website is a WP:COPYRIGHT violation, and can never be accepted, let alone undeleted. the panda ₯’ 08:57, 24 July 2014 (UTC)

The administrator deleted this citing several poor reasons such as "try listing on Craigslist instead". The administrator is now no longer part of Wikipedia.
