Font

What is this font called and where can I find a download of it? If you don't know which font I'm talking about, here are some pictures that include it:

This query makes the page almost impossible to download on dial-up. Can we delete the images in good faith? There is also more than one font showing, and I suspect the arty ones the OP is interested in are special-purpose fonts that have copyrights on them. The Writer's Strike

Can anyone explain, in a nutshell, how the current Writer's Strike impacts and affects the Golden Globe Award's being cancelled (or revamped or whatever they did)? I have not been following this too closely, to be honest. But, off the top of my head, I don't quite see the connection between the "union rights" of the writers and how that ties into the Awards ceremony. And, possibly, the Oscars. So it was essentially a professional courtesy that the actors extended to the writers in sympathy, solidarity, or support ... there was really nothing "legal" or contractual about the whole thing? The strike did not legally or contractually prohibit or prevent the ceremony from taking place ... the actors just wanted to support the writers? (Joseph A. Much of what would be said by the host and presenters of a full-blown awards show would have normally been written by writers in advance of the show. Because of the strike, no such copy writing could have been produced, so the presenters would have had to make up what they were to say. Since this would have diminished the appeal of the show itself, at least in the opinion of the producers and TV network broadcasting the show, it was decided to change the usual format of the awards show and make it simply a press conference.Thomprod (talk) 22:37, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

At the Oscars, the film's producers accept the trophy. Which one of the producers actually gets to keep it to bring home is a great question. For football competitions like the Champions League, Premiership, FA Cup etc the winning team is allowed to display the trophy until the next competition begins. They are then issued with a copy for permanent display. Usually, the real trophy is returned to the competition organiser after the final game and the copy used in all displays and celebrations (as it is normally quite a valuable piece of metal). In North America, for leagues founded in the U.S. the trophy is usually presented to the team owner, who gets to keep it. New ones are made each year. Limewire clones

Vocals

Hello - i'm in a band called 'rust'. Its our first gig coming up but i'm having problem with my vocals. Basically i'm lacking power/confidence in my voice ... i think its because of my breathing technique. does anyone know of any breathing exercises or techniques i could use to strengthen this area? Kill Em' All

I own a copy of Metallica's Kill Em All on CD and on the back track listing the song "Whiplash" is listed twice. Was this error on a widespread scale, or do i have a rare copy in my hands? the juggreserection ^IstKrieg! 15:17, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If im not mistaken, records normally display the date when the album was officially released, and not the date that particular album was issued. But i may be wrong. Is it a CD? What record label was your copy released under? If its Megaforce Records, then it must be the original issue, and you might have a rare copy indeed. Frankie Beverly and Maze

I'm trying to find out a song by Frankie Beverly and Maze (band). What I know is in the chorus part, a line sounds like "because it's my time" or "because it's my turn". The line is followed by a musical riff which sounds like something is being turned off. If anyone out there knows which song I'm talking about, please let me know. Is the part in the Claudine Longet entry that indicates she recorded the song "Bang Bang, I shot my baby dead" a joke? In the entry on that song,there's no indication Longet recorded that song.
