US presidents

When searching "which state has the most presidents" this page appears. But there is an error, Ulysses S. Grant is counted under Ohio on the primary list then appears on the Illonis list. This actually makes Ohio have the most US presidents, and this is the state I live in. OH- IO. Thank you. I would fix it myself but.. I have no idea what I'm doing.. Thank you.

I've emended the "States of primary affiliation by president" table to agree with the "Presidents by state of primary affiliation" table (and with the map at the top of the section, which shows Illinois as the primary affiliation of 3 presidents). Deor (talk) 10:36, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Maps in "Infobox monastery" templates

I recently added infoboxes to Catesby Priory and Chacombe Priory. As far as I can see, in each case I inserted the co-ordinates of the site in the same way. In the case of Catesby Priory, a red pushpin dot has correctly appeared on the location map and the caption "Location within Northamptonshire" has appeared below. In the case of Chacombe Priory, neither the dot nor the caption has appeared. What have I done incorrectly in the case of Chacombe Priory, and how do I correct it? The pushpin & caption are visible to me. Perhaps you're seeing a cached version of the page and need to clear the cache. - David Biddulph (talk) 10:48, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

For Chacombe Priory, which I have never looked at before, I see a map of Northamptonshire with no pushpin, in four different browsers. Maproom (talk) 10:56, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

My mistake earlier, but it does display the pushpin now that I put in the minus sign to move the longitude from East to West, and hence move from Suffolk to Northamptonshire. - David Biddulph (talk) 11:40, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Embedded lists - where's the limit?

Take e.g. an article like Holy Trinity Diocesan High School. Do we have a policy or a guideline to how long, bulleted, unreferenced lists in e.g. a section like Clubs or a section like Past Musicals we accept? Best, Sam Sailor ^Sing 17:06, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Another problem with the Holy Trinity Diocesan High School article is that it cites only one source (twice, both times in support of the same claim), and that source is on the web and does not currently exist. Maproom (talk) 21:12, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

Search problem

I'm not having any luck if I search from Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User conduct/Archive. Here's an example that should get a hit in Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User conduct/Archive 7 but doesn't.--Bbb23 (talk) 18:02, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

There shouldn't be a trailing slash in the search prefix. This works: example. I have fixed the box at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User conduct/Archive so it doesn't produce the trailing slash.[1] PrimeHunter (talk) 01:25, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

Deletion

Why was the Wikipedia biography page of "Blanche Gaston" deleted? Kindly help me to understand so that I can make the appropriate changes and re-submit the bio page. Thank you.

The page Blanche Gaston was deleted under WP:CSD#A7. That means that it was considered to be an article about a real person that did not explain the importance or significance of the person. Having read (just now) the deleted version, I think this deletion was perhaps debatable. However, it is true that the article as it existed before deletion was focused more on her book than on Dr. Gaston. The article was deleted by User:RHaworth, and you might want to discuss it with that administrator. Or you can put in a request to have the article undeleted at WP:REFUND. Please note that while I am not convinced that the article should have been speedy deleted, it did not in my view clearly establish the notability of Dr. Gaston. Please understand that on Wikipedia notability is not inherited, which means that simply being the author of a notable book does not automatically make a person notable. Please read our general notability guideline, and our guideline for notability of authors. DES ^(talk) 18:48, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

The deleted page appeared to fall under WP:NOTMEMORIAL. The sources cited in the deleted article were to Gaston's books and thus not independent of Blanche Gaston. A Wikipedia article on Blanche Gaston should be a summary of coverage in reliable sources that are independent of Blanche Gaston and that would need to be addressed as well the NOTMEMORIAL issue as part of re-submitting the bio page. -- Jreferee (talk) 05:11, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

new physicians in a cardiology group

I have a new physician coming to our cardiology practice. In years past, I always had a seasoned physician sign his/her name behind the new physician's name as an overseer of the new physician. there are requirements on how many heart catherizations and inverventional cardiology that have to be done and signed by the overseeing the physician. As soon as the new physician is credentialed with the insurance company the patient has, the new physician can send the claim in under his/her name. It also helps the new physician keep track of how many procedures have been done to meet the requirements. I can't find where I can get that information to prove this is the case. Referencing errors on Genetic testing

Mpatinobunny, You inserted a notes section with a {{reflist}} template above some of the article text on Genetic testing. There was already a {{reflist}} lower down on the page. see Referencing for beginners, Wikipedia:Inline citation, and Help:Footnotes. It is permissible to have two (or more) {{reflist}} templates if you intend to have two separate groups of footnotes, but this is unusual and can often lead to undesired results. It did not seem to be what you had in mind in this case. I have corrected the problem by moving the Notes and References sections you had inserted to the bottom, and making sure that only one {{reflist}} template is in the article.
