Another cricket-related list, Ian Bell is one of only two English cricketers since the Second World War to have won five Ashes series and this list details his 26 international centuries. The list resembles a similar style to numerous other list of centuries by international cricketers, I would like to thank The Rambling Man for the help in tidying up the list and its a pleasure to co-nominate this list, and look forward to all the helpful comments on how to improve the list.   • You need not mention the venues all the time while explaining his innings in the lead. For eg., "His highest Test score is 235 against India at The Oval" - The venue is really not needed unless it holds some significance.

  • "He has scored his twenty-two Test centuries against eight different opponents; he is most successful against Australia and Pakistan, with four against each." - You could simply say he has scored centuries against all Test-playing nations except Zimbabwe. Further, he has also scored four centuries against India.

  • This one is a personal preference. You could swap both the images as the second one seems more suitable for the lead.

  • Again, a mention of his 199 could be made on the lead as he is one of the eight players to be dismissed while on that score. Also, scoring five Test centuries in a calendar year is considered a "feat".

    Forgive me, but most of Fox Sports is a waste of time, I think that trying to push a factoid here is not worthy. Perhaps there's a list out there for "cricketers scoring five or more centuries in a calendar year"? The Rambling Man (talk) 19:20, 30 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Given none of his centuries were scored at neutral locations, it would be as well to remove references to neutral venues.
