Welcome, and thank you for editing the page User Performance and Perception‎ on Wikipedia. May I ask that you please be careful to not remove maintenance tags from an article without addressing the problem the tag presents? If you believe the tag is placed there in error, you may feel free to use the talk page to explain why the tag was removed. Thank you. Accurizer (talk) 17:45, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and thank you for your question on my talk page. At the top of the article you created, you will see two templates, {{OR}} and {{primarysources}}. In one of your edits, you removed them, perhaps by accident. Templates such as these can be added by other editors when they read an article and notice one or more potential issues that need to be addressed. In this particular case, your article did not cite any reliable sources for the information that was presented. The only reference was to a primary source, which could indicate that the article is original research, which is not allowed in Wikipedia. These templates should not be removed until these concerns are addressed. I hope this helps clarify the issue; if you have any further questions please let me know. Happy editing! Regards, Accurizer (talk) 18:20, 8 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Hello again. There is no reason why the article would need to be deleted from Wikipedia while you are working on it; in fact, most articles are a work in progress. But if you still wish it to be deleted, since you are the original author you could type {{db-author}} at the top of the page and an administrator may delete it. I hope this helps. O.K. For the future, another way to rename the page would have been to move it, see Help:Moving a page. I placed a welcome message at the top of your talk page with some other helpful links. Regards, Accurizer (talk) 11:09, 11 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
