Introduction to contentious topics

You have recently edited a page related to the Horn of Africa (defined as including Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, Djibouti, and adjoining areas if involved in related disputes), a topic designated as contentious. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Firefangledfeathers, thank you for trying to help, I just want you to know that I am still I new user, I don't know all of the rules, and if I break a rule I most likely didn't know it existed, it wasn't intentional. RfCs typically run for a while, often 30 days. If it's clear what the consensus is at the end of that period, someone can go ahead and implement it. If consensus is not clear, you can request closure from an uninvolved editor, and it'll be clear from their close what the next step should be.
