Lolz dude stop posting fake win rates. Go & check episodes listed , Ji-hyo won the most in individual & in team. She's the overall winner w/ highest rating of win in rm then follow by Jae-suk , Jong-kook , Gary , Haha , Kwang-Soo , Suk-Jin (Kwang-Soo & Suk-Jin barely won anything when their individual) ==. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikipediaaa12038 (talkcontribs) 19:47, 31 May 2015‎ (UTC)Reply

That I understand, but what about the past members and the awards & nominations section which you added was false and if true but without citations? Edward 20:22, 31 May 2015 (UTC)
Hey yup! erm sry for the past members part i wanted to write lizzy as the past members as she was indeed an orginal co-cast member as seen of in episode 18-25. she left in ep 26 i think but no idea what had happened. yup & i edit the host name to bottom not because it looks nice, cause i'm just trying to be tidy & go according to alphabetical order. Sry i'm new. So yup! guide me along & just received your notifications! i'll work on it w/ you together ^^. fighting ~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wikipediaaa12038 (talkcontribs) 17:23, 1 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Re: List of Running Man episodes edit

  • Ok, about that guests thing, it's alright. But next time, do not be lazy and just single out every guests with their respective wikipedia article.
  • As a long time watcher/editor of this page, I already saw this page vandalized so many times, the most recent one is the thing that an IP user really edited it overboard as another editor here went on an edit war, lol. That being said, the spoiler tag will not help at all cost. We are all responsible netizens and I believe that they go in the page because they want to know the winner immediately. Furthermore, if you view the page in its mobile version, it actually acts up because of a tag inside a table, and it doesn't load well. (It has been tried before, but many of the fans actually tried to delete it -- when RM was still at the top of the ratings game). So let's just leave it at its current format and preserve it. Sherynregis (talk) 11:09, 24 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
Oh, I didn't know that the tag doesn't load well in mobile version. Since it has been tried before, I guess I'll agree with you to keep the current format then. Cheers. And, please do check the ko sources if you're good in Korean ya. Thanks. (Edward (talk) 11:42, 24 June 2015 (UTC))Reply
Reply: Yes, it has been tried before (I think that was in 2011 or early 2012). I've checked your sources and it's good. When I told you that this was not a forum, it was because the tag that is used the most in the forum (Soompi, and other forums) is that spoiler tag. And I believe all netizens that access this page have a knowledge that they may see spoilers on the page. We just "watch" the page right now unofficially, together with RiddFariid (I don't know if that's the correct spelling), as we are really fans of the show since its first episode. We did not start the page (because we did not know how to edit articles then), but you can count on us to "protect and preserve" the articles. P.S. Continue learning Korean, because when I learned how to read Hangul, I proceeded learning their sentence structures (which is not that difficult, by the way, you just jumble the order in an English sentence, lol). The only thing left to learn now is their vocabulary, and I'm really spending a lot of time in that department. And another thing!!! Japanese is fun too, but Hiragana is much more difficult than Hangul characters, so best of luck. Japanese is also a very fine language to learn!! Sherynregis (talk) 18:44, 24 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Running Man Ratings edit

Stop faking the ratings. ../.. AbegailZarate (talk) 16:11, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

First of all I brought back your comment, there's no need to delete it, I welcome any discussions, but for a new user, your comment do sound a bit aggressive. Don't know will you be seeing this or not, but here's my response. I didn't fake the ratings and I admit that I don't really have the data for the show's ratings, even if there is, there's only joint ratings for the whole Good Sunday section (Take Care of My Dad + Running Man). So, I took the data from the Korean wiki or Chinese wiki with credits in the edit summary instead. Not sure who is the original source, but I believe is this Wikipedian in ko wiki, he/she probably buys the data from the ratings company (all & individual ratings need to be bought), as he/she is seen updating many South Korean show's ratings in ko wiki. So, I think it's safe to assume good faith to his/her data. Thanks. (Edward (talk) 17:56, 20 July 2015 (UTC))Reply

Gary (rapper) edit

Hi! I'm Summer Amore and I made the change on Gary (Rapper)'s page. I changed the year of which Gary was born from '78 to '77. The rapper was actually born on February 24, 1977 and he has mentioned it on episode 32 of Running Man. He mentioned it during the A4 Paper Weight Game during his turn. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Summer Amore (talkcontribs) 20:47, 3 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hi, Summer Amore. I just checked the episode you mentioned, and you're right, the casts did mention that he was born in '77. But, I did some checking yesterday before your edit was reverted by NYDirk and found out from the Korean website of one of his labels, Jungle Entertainment, that he indeed was born in '78. There's no specific URL to direct you there, but if you want, you will be able to see it with a few clicks, starting from here. His personal Weibo and the ko wiki also shows it’s '78. So, my guess is that the casts may have mixed it up because from what I know, Korean age system is a bit different from the usual American age system. So, I still believe it should be '78 instead of '77. Thanks. (Edward (talk) 14:06, 4 August 2015 (UTC))Reply
Wikipedia does not decide which sources are correct. In a case of conflicting, but otherwise reliable independent 3rd party sources, the solution is something like: 'his/her actual birthdate remains disputed; [source A] states it as being [dd/mm/yy] while [source B] publishes it as [dd/mm/yy]'. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 23:41, 12 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
Points noted, thanks Mr. Kudpung. Hope you don't mind me correcting some of your typos though, and also thank you for going on ahead to semi protect this page again for a longer period. Good day. (Edward (talk) 10:05, 13 August 2015 (UTC))Reply

Disambiguation link notification for September 24 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of Running Man episodes, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gangwon. @AceBlankJi: What can you do then? Well, with your "I'm only doing this for fun, that's what editing is for" and your continuous disruptive attitude, you're obviously not here to be a Wikipedia editor. So, I suggest that you either:-
  • Stop editing, go to any random page via the left column, read the article and learn about new things OR
  • you can leave Wikipedia permanently. Regards. Edward (tc) 19:42, 2 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Malaysia official name edit

Hi. I noticed that you reverted my edits to Malaysia that removed false state names from the infobox and introductory paragraph. I would like to note that the official state name is not "Malaysian Federation" or "Federation of Malysia", but is simply "Malaysia". This is proven in official UN documents listing official country names ([1] and [2]), a US Department of State list of official country names ([3]), and the constitution of Malaysia which states in Article I that "The Federation shall be known, in Malay and in English, by the name Malaysia." ([4]). Yes, the other names had some references from other media, but none are the official state name and hence should not be listed as such. Nick Mitchell 98 (talk) 11:05, 30 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Nick Mitchell 98: Hi. First of all, sorry for the delayed reply! Although I had seen your message since Day 1, the reason I didn't reply immediately is explained in the first paragraph of my user page. Fyi, I'm neither an expert nor very interested in that category and my History subject only managed to get a B in secondary school, so my good faith revert that day was mainly because I thought that both "Malaysian Federation" & "Federation of Malaysia" were added in long long time ago until it was removed by you recently, which is why I said "I think it should less likely to be wrong" at the end of my edit summary. But after I checked the revision history, I am the one who was wrong. Both names were only added recently by Alexander Iskandar, here. I had a look at your cited materials as well, they were strong and I'm in no way to refute them, and since the changes had been made by Joshua today, I guess problem solved(?)
On a side note, I do remember seeing "Persekutuan Malaysia" in my Malay language History textbook, or was that wrong too? I don't know, I had forgotten the details. Or was it once called that after Sarawak & Sabah joined and was later enforced to only use "Malaysia" officially and internationally?
Anyway, sorry for all the troubles caused, to you and to Joshua (whom I just realized he was the one who brought the article up to GA status some years ago). Cheers. ^^ Edward (tc) 14:31, 4 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite edit

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
