The WikiProject Tropical Cyclones recruitment drive!

The WikiProject Tropical Cyclones (WPTC) needs your help. Since 2008, our number of members have decreased. We need your help making sure all of are Featured articles are updated and some project processes need to be accomplished. We can do some processes with many active members, so we Wikipedians like you to help us get this done. In WPTC we

• Work on vital articles such as Hurricane Hugo, Hurricane Rita, Hurricane Ike, Hurricane Camile, Cyclone Tracy, or 2004 Atlantic hurricane season
• Update season articles
• Create new articles for every Atlantic hurricane season since 1851 and every Eastern Pacific hurricane season since 1949.

Proposed deletion of 2009 Perfect Storm

The article 2009 Perfect Storm has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The 2009 perfect storm doesnt exist and is also redundant with the damage belonging in Hurricane Ida.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist.
