Hello, I'm Riverbend21. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Dimasa Kachari language, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Riverbend21 (talk) 11:23, 6 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Okay Sir, I am new to the Wikipedia platform hence bound to err. I will try to cite valid sources Woodlighy (talk) 11:41, 6 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your edits are still available in the article history. You provided no sources whatsoever for any of your edits, and you have been previously warned about this, and replied to the warning so you should not be surprised to find your unsourced edits being reverted. If you had sources, then they should have been added with the content when you made your edits. -- Whpq (talk) 18:08, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Even the sources that people provide are the paperwork only all of which though referenced are not accepted widely..but yes with sources i will revert it again Woodlighy (talk) 18:12, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Always provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Speedy deletion nomination of Veer Dimalik Kemprai

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Veer Dimalik Kemprai requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://dimasandimaraji.blogspot.com/2012/05/sengyah-dehmalu-kemprai-dimasa-hero.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   Hello Woodlighy! Your additions to Veer Dimalik Kemprai have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 12:42, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Why did you do that Sir??? Woodlighy (talk) 13:57, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Dehmalu Kemprai's story is not different among Dimasa...what do you expect ?? Should it be a different version different story of a same person Woodlighy (talk) 13:58, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Kindly contribute if you can otherwise don't do this never ever again Woodlighy (talk) 13:59, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia is a free content encyclopedia, and your contributions must be freely licensed. That means you cannot just copy text you find on the internet unless that text is under a WP:free license. -- Whpq (talk) 14:09, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
The story of a same man is se everywhere,it can't be different..so don't remove the original content Woodlighy (talk) 17:52, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Facts cannot be copyrighted but the expression of those facts can be done many ways. You are not expressing the facts in your own words. Yo are simply copying the text from a blog. That is a copyright violation and contrary to Wikipedia's copyright policy. -- Whpq (talk) 18:10, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
A man takes birth on 10 January 2000 ..so should I write he took birth on 2005 20 January Woodlighy (talk) 18:14, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Its not a copyright Sir it's call franchise spreading the ditto history of a same individual and this is essential to avoid confusion to masses Woodlighy (talk) 18:16, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Plus if it's article on KACHARI ,that article should be inclusive of all Kachari clans and so I added all if you know the references add it but do not undo the valid onground knowledge that being documeted on Wikipedia by me,,later many more books will crop up on this issues and hence references will be generated. But i fear that the many books which is used as being reference does not amount to accuracy and also is rejected by many scholars and so the so called references ,many are not even a genuine reference Woodlighy (talk) 18:29, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
but it's alright I understand the forum and respect it's formulas and will try to fit the frame .Thank you Woodlighy (talk) 18:30, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Why did you delete the entire Kachari content ?? Woodlighy (talk) 18:01, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Maintain WP:CIVIL. You'll be reported next time you try something like this or vandalisze pages. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:28, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Haflong. Stop changing sourced content. IF you have issues discuss in the talk page per WP:CONSENSUS. Otherwise you will be reported. DO not change census figures. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:21, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

You are literally changing census 2011 figures for the settlements per your personal preferences. This is nothing but pure WP:VANDALISM. You'll reported next time. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:24, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
why have you deleted dimasa content from silchar page? What is your problem?? Woodlighy (talk) 12:32, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Are you from Assam? Woodlighy (talk) 12:33, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Can't you read the census source? You have inflated Dimasa figures and deflated others. You are doing vandalism, that's all. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:36, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
It doesn't matter where am I from. You do disruptive changes, you'll be reverted, warned and if continues reported and blocked. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:37, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
Then revert Silchar page of all it's Dimasa content...thanks Woodlighy (talk) 12:41, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
You have added unsourced content. So was removed, including the number of 1100 and the percentage, are not supported by the census source. See WP:Verifiability policy. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:45, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
I pray all Dimasa people be converted to Christianity...i ve understood the mentality of You...ok Woodlighy (talk) 12:46, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
If all you have to do is to push your personal agenda and add unsourced content, then Wikipedia is simply not for you. If not then perhaps read the basics like WP:RS and the ones mentioned here in your talk page. - Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:52, 31 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
