Proposed deletion of Azeri genocide

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Azeri genocide, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Inherently POV article that has no citations whatsoever. Borderline attack page. Possibly a case for a speedy if it is substantially similiar to the now-deleted Kurdish genocide (WWI) page.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Speedy deletion of Daud Kheyriyan

A tag has been placed on Daud Kheyriyan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. ╟─TreasuryTagcontribs─╢ 08:37, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Çemberlitaş hamamı

A tag has been placed on Çemberlitaş hamamı requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, such as in Talk:Azeri genocide, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Azeri genocide has been reverted.

Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): geocities\.com (links: http://www.geocities.com/capitolhill/5078/xocali.htm).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 12:18, 8 March 2009 (UTC)

Komotini pogrom

Hello! I saw that you created an article called "Komotini pogrom", where you allege that a pogrom happened at Komotini in 1990. I would like to ask you where your sources are. A Google search in English came up little info (and no results at all for the title "Komotini pogrom"), and in Turkish, it seems to indicate (my understanding of Turkish is admittedly limited) that there were some riots in 1988 and 1990, but not a pogrom as such. Riots did happen there in 1990, but AFAIK no actual deathscorrection: per this, there was one death, a Christian, but still not anything that could be construed as a pogrom. So please either rename the article to 1990 Komotini riots, or provide sources backing up the term "pogrom". Furthermore, if you could provide some more reliable sources (news agencies and published books) that refer to the events in more detail, it would be great, esp. if they are in English. 3RR on Holocaust denial

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Holocaust denial. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. - EronTalk 19:55, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Support for deleting the Category:Anti-Armenianism

Will you support my arguement for the deletion of the Category:Anti-Armenianism that I put forward on May 1, 2009?

It is very subjective and even racist as it puts every person who questions the Armenian genocide, such as prominent academicians, who are not racist or personally against Armenian people or Armenia as an entity, along with assasins and militants.

Thank you

Hi, I've removed the speedy deletion tag from the article because I don't think it should be deleted. Editors who tag articles with requests for speedy deletion do make mistakes--and BTW, you can contest them by adding the template that the tag describes and writing on the article's Talk page about why you think the article should be kept. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about Wikipedia. --AFriedman (talk) 15:11, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
