Disambiguation link notification for May 23 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 25th South African Music Awards, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page HHP (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 12:42, 23 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:Ag Shame Lovey.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Ag Shame Lovey.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 22:31, 23 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:WIKIZILE edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:WIKIZILE requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://lite.cnn.com/en/article/h_ba43d05ca5d2de6590077f4a7f7d9c34. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Famousbirthdays.com as a source edit

Hi WIKIZILE. I noticed that you recently used famousbirthdays.com as a source for biographical information in Winnie Ntshaba. Please note that there is general consensus that famousbirthdays.com does not meet the reliable sourcing criteria for the inclusion of personal information in such articles. (See (RSP entry)). If you disagree, let's discuss it. Thanks. --Ronz (talk) 21:45, 28 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Ladies In Song - Live In Concert edit

Hello WIKIZILE,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ladies In Song - Live In Concert for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is significant enough to be included in an encyclopedia, and the artist doesn't have an article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Make Love (Gucci Mane Song) edit

Thank you for creating Make Love (Gucci Mane Song). I have a few suggestions to improve the article. First, there needs to be one space after a comma, and one or two spaces after a period. As well, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia written in a more formal tone, where clichés and idioms are avoided. Text such as "On the track Minaj unleashing a few disses towards her enemies" can be confusing to some readers who may not understand what you mean by "unleashing" and "disses". Please take a moment to read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Words to watch. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 10:45, 6 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ladies In Song - Live In Concert moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Ladies In Song - Live In Concert, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. Currently it only has one source, and that source is an entry in an ecommerce website, isn't significant independent coverage and thus doesn't contribute toward notability. Normally, the standard procedure for an article like this would be to redirect to the recording artist, but as this is a compilation album there's no obvious target, so I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. signed, Rosguill talk 20:57, 14 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

August 2019 edit

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Gifted & Black. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. I have had to remove your original research from "Gifted & Black" several times in the past, and you don't seem to get the message. Stop now. AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October! edit

Greetings!

After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. The AfroCine Project welcomes you to October, the first out of the two months which have been dedicated to creating and improving content that centre around the cinema of Africa, the Caribbean, and the diaspora. Join us in this global edit-a-thon, by helping to create or expand articles which are connected to this scope. Also remember to list your name under the participants section.

On English Wikipedia, we would be recognizing participants in the following manner:

  • Overall winner (1st, 2nd, 3rd places)
  • Diversity winner
  • Gender-gap fillers

For further information about the contest, the recognition categories and how to participate, please visit the contest page here. Please create articles with correct disambiguation and capitalisation edit

Several times now you've created incorrectly titled articles. when I'm quite sure with how long you've been here, you know how to correctly title them. If you are unwilling to start a page on a redirect someone else made, create a draft or userspace draft and ask for it to be moved over them. Don't create pages like Tusa (Karol G Song). I'm sure you know enough about the titles of articles by this point to know the "s" in song shouldn't be capitalised. If you don't, it's time to familiarise yourself with WP:NCMDAB before creating any further articles. Thank you. Ss112 15:21, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Autopatrolled granted edit

Hi WIKIZILE, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! – Muboshgu (talk) 02:22, 28 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Edit count edit

I'm curious: why are you spending hours making thousands of meaningless edits to your user page? I know that last year you indicated an interest in someday seeking to become an administrator, but building up an artificial edit count in this way isn't something that will help you achieve that or anything else. Your stats show a breakdown of where you make edits. You don't have to answer, I'm just puzzled by what you're doing and had to ask. Schazjmd (talk) 16:36, 22 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
