2024 Kansas City parade shooting
At 2024 Kansas City parade shooting, what did you mean when you said that "RM discussions are votes"? --Jax 0677 (talk) 21:07, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- I wrote !votes, with an exclamation mark, meaning that they are not votes. Per WP:RMCIDC, RM discussions are closed by determining consensus based on policies and guidelines, not by counting heads. voorts (talk/contributions) 21:34, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
- Reply - Thanks. --Jax 0677 (talk) 21:35, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
On a similar subject, can you clarify this part: "while 6 editors supported "Kansas City Super Bowl parade shooting", 1 was neutral, and 1 opposed." From my perspective, it is 7 supports and 1 opposed and the only way I can work it out is that I was somehow considered neutral because it wasn't my first preference. --Super Goku V (talk) 06:50, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Super Goku V That's what it said in the poll, unless I miscounted. But as I said, the poll was given no weight in my close. voorts (talk/contributions) 12:40, 11 March 2024 (UTC)
- I believe there is a misunderstanding, but very well. I suppose it does not matter now. --Super Goku V (talk) 05:42, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
